@vwoohu

Everyone is going to ride off of goobies fame. Shameless

@debbydjodjobo7104

Thank you for sharing. You made some great points!

@waynezhou8667

The truth is that neurosurgeons can quit after 10 years of work based on their income, but most people can't make the same level of salary even if they work for over 30 years.

@lisagilmore-wi9gu

He doesn’t NEED you or anyone to summarize anything he said. We all understood EXACTLY what he was saying- Thank you anyway

@scarecrow0117

We don't care to see other Dr's break it down or explain why you think he quit, he said what he said.

He would've loved it if the things they were doing wasn't so corrupt! 🤷 corrupt to the core!!!! He got PLAYED and saw the truth.

@ankushpatel7682

The commentary here is a perfect supplement to what is offered in the referred video. Very balanced, reasonable and provides a context I think is important for many to consider.

@impuredeath2

Man Goodbie is going viral!

@appliancerepair1694

Very practical video as it's very concerning as Doobie could convince others life is easy after quitting. Life is exploring new options and taking risks. Failure is not anything to be ashamed of. Failure gives you knowledge and understanding of what works in your life. Try a different job rather than quitting altogether.

@sherrylcarr233

I understand where he’s coming from… no need to push him. I am an individual who has been looking for holistic doctors which I believe he would be awesome. Not many doctors want to do this because of the dirty word”money, greed”I’m behind him 100 5

@bubblewrap4793

Physician burnout is a huge problem that's been swept under the carpet for years. Maybe Dr. Goobie videos will break the silence.

@aaronvu6292

If you have a little understanding about Dr Goobie's environment and personality. You would kind of understand why he's in medical field and why he's quitting: His father is a doctor, actually very good one. But, since he was young, he leaned toward humanity behavior/philosopher.
Money is important. But I felt this video was heavily just discussing about status and financial rewards.
But little about traditions and spiritual rewards.

@kims8317

All good points. I watched his video. It was inspirational. But, yes, I did realize that he definitely had enough money saved to be able to quit. Not everyone can quit their careers this easily.

@mcengizaydin

A good reminder what it takes to quit. A balanced assessment.

@nathanplumb3782

The courageous and admirable actions of dr Gooby seem to highlight just how vapid and spineless most people who are invested into our profoundly sick society are. People like her and the other doctors desperately trying to put a spin on what he was saying to try to justify the fact that they have traded in their humanity for money and security.

@raghuraghavendra7612

Ok, so the lesson is continue to inflict moral injury to yourself as a neurosurgeon because you need the money - look up “fallacy of sunk cost”. Not to mention exploit patients in pain

@2legit2Kwit

He’s probably financially independent and retired early

@alexandrafrangou1467

Here comes the expert.

@QUANTUM508

His
circumstance works for him and him only. I had hand surgery on my right hand and my left hand. 2 different surgeons. Both were outstanding men of great character and intellect. Because of the surgery's I have full use of both of my hands. I do Commercial
Refrigeration mechanical work and they were life savers for me. His particular surgery does not have the same results. So I can see why he would become demoralized.

@andrewlubczuk8694

His salary it’s a before taxes or after taxes otherwise you have to slash and a half

@anthonyesparsen7776

I got clearly what volume said loud in c!ear he is not the only Dr that has mental this about the medical system
