@DrivingPhilippines

On very hot days, remove the battery and connect a USB C cable to a battery pack. I do this recording very long drives in the Philippines in 5.3k 30fps Hypersmooth on 200Mbps bitrate with Extreme Pro sdcard

Professional photographer here, relatively experienced video guy, but brand new to GoPro. You’re one of the best GoPro guys I’ve seen. You have a profoundly strong grasp of understanding photography and video and I learn so much from all your videos. I just got a GoPro 12 for my bday this last month, and it’s my first. I’m loving it and getting even better results out of it from watching your videos and applying the techniques and settings you teach and recommend. I’m not using it for action, just vlogging and fun documenting of my family. My next step is to download GoPro labs and do even more fiddling.

Love your content. Thanks for sharing your experience!

@jaco_oosthuizen

Hi. Will you please make a video dedicated to GoPro Labs and explain in detail all the pros and cons?

@dontrapani7778

Excellent video! As a new user of the GoPro 11, I had a lot to learn, as I upgraded from a GoPro 3 after realizing that I NEEDED video stabilization. Recently I had two problems: 1. I was surprised to see motion blur when I took video of a birthday celebration inside a restaurant, but I did have hypersmooth turned on. 2. I was using my GoPro to record my golf swing practice, and it overheated on me on a mild 70° day. Hypersmooth was also on by default even though the GoPro was mounted on a tripod. Your video took care of both of my problems!!! Thanks very much, and keep these videos coming!

@keiththompson2289

Didn't know about setting the exposure to parts of the image. Thank you sooo much for the tip !!

@hollyhillrc

Thank you very much for this video. I had no idea about the exposure control @3.07 on my GoPro12. This will save me so much time in post edit now.

@Cereal_Killr_RC

I have that same selfie stick. I use it for my PC webcams too. It's SOOOooo useful. It even came with a bluetooth controller which can control a Cell phone. Great tip!

@kadnick

First Point) Micro SD Card. I just bought the Sandisk Extreme Pro 1TB. It works fantastic.

@melisgaming

You make really helpful guides for GoPro, you explain concepts well without being excessive 👍

@pandaxcvii

About recording long duration videos, I've tried removing the battery and powering the GoPro 12 directly with a power bank. Works great. I've recorded over 3 hours non stop with no issues.

@natedawggg97

One of the most helpful vids I’ve come across

@georgios9384

Great video, thank you for putting all this information together! In terms of overheating, most of the content creators do not consider use cases where people use their action cameras not for content creation but to capture family and personal moments. In such cases there is no point capturing 1 or 2 minutes, one just wishes to capture footage continuously for 30-60 minutes. If you add on top of this that people might use their action cameras during their holidays in places where temperature might be between 20-30 degrees Celsius all day then unfortunately these cameras overheat after 10-12 minutes of continuous recording and take time to recover.

@tylerhannah4081

What a great video. Thank you for a great explanation without all the YouTuber garbage.

@omalysiragusa9747

Hey! First time viewer here, I gotta say thanks a ton I just got my first ever GoPro and I’m so excited and I’ve gotta say I LOVE the GoPro settings you had for the night time visual. I can care less about other cameras abilities to capture lowlight videos I think that what you showed was AMAZING and much more realistic in my opinion! would you mind sharing those settings or a video you majen speaking on that? I’m a fisherman so most of my content will be done in the sun and during the day but it doesn’t mean I don’t get to the water at those times I’m usually there before sunrise any tips in those conditions as well? Thank you so much in advance

@Kilgurt

Most excellent and many great tips!!! Thanks!

@theVirtualHikerBC

Hero 9 recommends a micro SD card no bigger than 256gb, but wow, such good information ... I had no idea i could change the exposure in one part of the frame!

@eyeintheskiesdavid9277

Thanks so much for making this video so easy to understand and helpful to me as I am only after getting one

@steventhechef1538

Excellent tutorial. I am new to GoPro and I am using it when travelling overseas. This video was extremely helpful. Thanks

@CRVideos0877

Thank you, very useful advices! 💯Have a nice weekend!

@MyRockMyFortress

Just got a GoPro 12 today and it took me a few minutes to figure out how to open the battery latch lol
