This is my theory. There are 6 DHMIS episodes. June is the 6th month of the year. The 19th is all of te times they have experienced their story . (it began 6/1 and now they are at 6/20) The 6th episode was the last which meant that it takes 6 episodes each of the whole story to change (hence- the ending of the last episode where they started back from the beginning was different than the beginning to the 1st episode in some cases. Once all of the 6 episodes are finished, adds a new day. The end of the 6th episode went from 19 to 20. The story (or i guess season) always has 6 episodes until the day changes. The story after 6/20 will have 6 more episodes, with the same story, but illustrated differences (just like what we saw), then the day will switch again to 21, then 22, and so on. To summarize, they are in a never ending cycle that they will forever be stuck in.

It also has similar props, the stage in DHMIS 6, co-creator Becky Sloan makes an appearance, and it's even directed by Roy!
