@haisler4541

I realize it is funny to hear him speak like that, but if you actually pay attention to what he is saying, that was a great speech.

@markyfrencho

High school teacher here. I did not need the subtitles.

@joss1578

I laughed when he said he would include subtitles in standard english, until I realized I needed it😂

@ccatharsis

“keep cooking, stay goated, never be mid and fr study hard and go rizz up that knowledge” such emotional words

@zeitgeistzest797

The reactions, from "oh this is cringe" to laughing hard and then actually listening to the message, are just awesome.

@Ringowasprettygood

I love the entirely realistic spread of kids totally enjoying it and completely fucking hating the whole thing lmao

@Cujohhh

"chat lets lock in"

@---------------------------__

- “You want kids to come into your class and get excited for this? You gotta come in here and make them excited. You want a kid to change and start doing better? You gotta touch his freaking heart”.

@topisantakivi1512

We appreciate your efforts to preserve these rare languages.

@kozermax

I like how the crowd eventually stopped laughing at every phrase and did actually "lock in" and listened to the rest of the speech fairly intently.
That is to say, huge W for Xiaoma because the speech definitely passed the vibe check.

@georgeloyal2051

As a native speaker of the language, it's impressive how quick he got to being fairly fluent. Of course, there are some grammatical and some vocab errors, but that's expected when you're learning a new dialect.

@Melodicluis

No cap. He's the goat for that speech. The way he rizz the audience 😂

@kainuipenaloza9395

It's actually a great speech which is what makes it SO MUCH better. He's not just including nonsense, he's literally discussing complex topics of linguistics just using as much Gen Alpha Slang as possible. There's maybe 2 or 3 bits that don't fit the way he thinks, but he nailed most of it so well.

@geckopecko

9:46 "that thing is straight up ohio coded" that's a crazy thing to say while in the ohio state university lmfaoo

@icybluellama7616

4:07 never thought i’d ever hear “type shit” come out of this man’s mouth

@kevinlanzaderas8464

Some might think this is funny but this is actually eye opening for future grammar standards. This is evolution of grammar.

@ImJayTeezy

“Dad go touch grass” was actually hilarious 🤣🤣👏🏽

@vsauce5614

Imagine an ASL interpreter signing his speech to deaf students

@AZALI00013

okay but jokes aside the content of the speech is so good and the medium proves the point so well too oh my god

@vpattt1619

“You’re legit patching the English DLC with fresh updates” 🤣🤣 4:38
