Improper braces sounds like a lawsuit

My understanding is that braces work by putting the jaw bone under so much stress that your body releases an enzyme to soften the bone in order for your teeth to move into a nonstressful position. So if your body has problems breaking down and distributing calcium you could lose your teeth later due to bone loss.

I just can’t with his eyebrows 😭😭

It is indeed possible. My sister had her teeth completely ruined by one of the clinics from Manchester, UK (Initials: VC). She now needs root canals on all of the front teeth, as well as crowns. She was told by multiple dentists she had her teeth ruined due to incorrectly installed braces. Not only she overpaid 4x for the braces, yet she was quoted 16,000 to fix all the damages by a different clinic. She still has her teeth, but they don't align and they are in a very bad condition now, thanks to the braces. I remember she was going through a lot of pain while she was wearing them, which I don't feel at all while wearing my braces. I had braces done with a different clinic. I feel no pain, just slight pressure, never would think anyone would cry about the pain. Make sure you guys find someone reputable to do the job, otherwise you may pay a hefty price for it. She is thinking of suing them.

@Miawallce80

I had trauma to my front tooth and the root died!
I found out via my dentist that my treatment (ment to be 4 years of fixed braces but were removed just over over 3) had been speed up by the orthodontist because he wanted to retire and wanted to see through all of his patients??? I also had a terrible job done by the dentist with the root canal root canal and oversized wrong shade veneer ( That's the British NHS free dental care)... But fortunately I immigrated to Australia just after this was done, and at 21 my boyfriends mum (who was a dentist) said it was the worst veneer she'd seen offered to fix it for 60% of the cost... Redid the root canal.. Brand new personally designed veneer to match perfect...and 24 years later it's only just being replaced!!

Trained professionals can protect you from losing your teeths, but they can't protect you from your own stupidity

@SpaceCase6669-myOf

My sister recently lost all of her teeth due to her braces. To the point she GAVE UP and let them rot away until the braces came off themselves. Shes only like 25. Breaks my heart

@FluffyVicky

I knocked half a front tooth off when driving skateboard with 14.

I got a root removal and a simple "cement" buildup to like like a normal tooth.

10 years later it not even darkened and you wont notice if you didnt know.

Shoutout to my Dentist, love him.

New fear unlocked

@5DayOldTbone

I don't care how trained you are, I'm now suddenly fine with having crooked teeth forever.

@pokelynke8232

"non-trained professional" sounds like an oxymoron.

@Sweetashunnybees

I paid $6000 for a root canal. I was told 4 years later, after having pain Aspen Dental refused to treat, that my root canal was done wrong. Too big for my mouth, they didn't remove everything and they placed the wires wrong. I can't get another root canal because the damages done over 4 years of a wrong fitted root canal. Now I'm older and I don't care about saving a back tooth.

@Space_Princess

I was told by an my dentist that as I have a few shallow roots I could risk losing those teeth if I were to get braces and my wisdom teeth would struggle to find space due to my upper jaw being smaller than it should be. So I have had to learn that having wonky teeth is okay and doesn’t make you ugly at all and sometimes it’s better to have wonky teeth for your healths sake in the long run ❤

@CrumbleSupreme

Bro now I’m scared to get braces because I don’t want my teeth falling out 😂😂

@imreallycool19

gee thanks I really needed this before my BRACES APPOINTMENT
😭😭😭😭

@asilentrndm3016

I had a classmate who made fun of me for getting braces that are "expensive" (around ₱50K or $900, which are actually on the cheaper side). He then told he got his braces from a place which offered them for like ONE DOLLAR. Only heaven knows what his teeth are about to experience.
