So the first ever rogue black hole (of stellar mass) was discovered a couple of weeks ago and now we’ve got the first rogue supermassive black hole? That escalated astronomically quickly
It still boggles my mind that this event we are seeing from 600,000,000 light years away actually happened basically around the time multicellular life was getting going.
I'm really happy that space is really, really big. Cheers! Thanks for the science and videos!
Invisible destroyer of worlds roaming around undetectable. That's comforting 😂
All these breakthroughs keeping Anton busy!
Imagine being a civilization around one of these stars and finding one of these monsters on it way to you, absolutely terrifying!
Imagine the horror of living in a solar system that suddenly gets captured by a black hole and you live long enough to see your star getting ripped apart.
Another great piece, Anton. Thanks for researching it.
Wonderful as always Anton. Thank you. 🤘😼😊

Thank you, Anton! Another excellent episode! One request: Please label the images that you show as CGI, or artist’s impression, or real. It is very important that we know what is real and what is not. Thank you!

Wandering supermassive black holes are just newborn Galaxies. Traveling through the universe about to gather stars, dust and gases to form the new galaxy. The universe is amazing and terrifying!
Imagine one flying around at like 170,000 km/s, just decimating entire solar systems without slowing down
Man Anton, I come for your calming voice and interesting space discoveries, not to have an existential crisis
