you're a fucking awesome interviewer man. You actually listen to the guest, and ask meaningful questions. Big big props, keep it going

30 minutes in and this really hits home for where I’m at with my goals and dreams right now. Exactly what I needed. Graham’s insights are super practical—his answers are simple but detailed, and apply to just about any situation. The flow of the interview and the depth of his responses made it really engaging and valuable. Keep it going!
In the age of short form videos, John produces such good content that you can listen to his videos for 45 minutes and still not lose interest. Great video as always!
great video brother! Couple key takeaways: 1. identifying limiting beliefs 2. Asking yourself: what would you do if you knew you couldn't fail? 3. understanding that success takes time (10 years) and it comes down to the simple, boring habits 4. Staying in Flow state to Live and be happy
Mentality is key; it can be easy to get discouraged by the mundane parts of building (a business, a new skill, etc.) but understand that consistency compounds and enjoy the ride!
Love how graham talks humbly about his shortcomings in business and his failures in his path. A big thing you see in guys like this on YouTube is lack in humility, and this guy just radiates it
42:00 daily habits to do to actually grow: Know where you are - who are you at your very best, what are limiting beliefs, what is the story you're writing? Where you want to go - What do you actually want? What does success look like? - Decide what you'd do if you knew you wouldn't fail. - Think 5-10 years out, too many constraints in 1-2 years. - The 'how' is the killer of all great dreams How to get there - make a list of 30 things you can do to move towards that goal - list of 6 people that can help you on that - make a list of things you can read to help you on that - list of people who've done that thing before. Tactics of getting there are the easy part. It's being clear on where we're going and where we're starting from that most people miss. 29:30 pioneering innovation: What's not going well we need to fix? Where are bottlenecks, where are they breaking down? What's gonna kill us that we need to extinguish? Most importantly: What's going well that we can do more of and scale?
I like how there's an analytical yet theraputic self reflective approach into being successful, starting with habits
This is by far the best podcast interview with a billionaire on YouTube. Seriously, you guys nailed it. You tossed the ball, and he hit home runs. You had him explain and elaborate on things so well, and I appreciated that every reply he gave was based on actual applied experiences, something he learned from school, or from business. Thanks for posting this.
Not sure I’ve spent a better 45 minutes on YouTube than I have listening to this. Confirmed some beliefs, challenged others, gave me a LOT to meditate on. Many thanks for the wisdom!
Such an amazing yet humble guy
I'm finishing up college this year and I can't believe this type of content is out for free. Thanks so much for the quality videos
This is gold and super sharp questions. We all know the power of compounding interest, but compounding effort is often overlooked. Couple that with rational, logical and well-cultivated self-belief to last through the long ride and we will get there, ultimately. Mr Weaver's talk on how to live an asymmetric life is also immensely powerful.
So many takeaways: 1. set the goal 2. don't give up 3. actions is more important than motivation/inspiration 4. set the expectation to be fail first and gradually succeed in 10 years 5. stress comes from conflict. Choose ONE 6. Hire attributes, not experiences. 7. Find out where you are right now and where you want to do in 5-10 years, ignoring the how.
41:00 If you do this things, you will be successful: 1) Know where you are (limiting beliefs) 2) Know what you actually want Decide what you would do if you know you couldn't fail. (Within 5-10 years) (Don't worry about how) Make a list of 30 things you could do and 6 people who could help you accomplish that goal.
I’m binging these videos at 1am rn and I’m so excited. The way you guys talk about doing things you’re passionate about makes me so inspired.
great energy transfer regardless if I was personally not in the room I still felt there energy really great podcast.
45:47 was that a small touch-wood moment, like before talking about the "benefit" you had? AHAHA
