@johnvienna3422

I frequently search for info on how to stop overthinking everything... and along comes Lucas with this brilliant video title 😂

@giroudsbrother9450

you aren’t just making videos lukas, you are being a good influence on society and the future generations

@pinsantoni

This is probably the best title I’ve ever seen on your channel :)

@csmcrckrs

Haha perfect video for someone who plans in advance which groceries to put on the conveyor belt first and which to put on last ... so I can pack them in my bag / backpack in the right order. I'll now have the chance to take my neuroticism even further by implementing your method! (P.S. great taste in stationery ... will definitely watch some more of your videos)

@PenConnection

1000% yes. My family thinks I'm crazy, but I re-write the list into the order I will go through the store. Part of it is so I don't have to make extra walks across the store unnecessarily, but I also like to put on an audio book or podcast. For that to be enjoyable, I need to make sure the shopping isn't taking up too much brain power or attention.

I have 3 systems for the "capture" aspect of the list. 1) pocket notebook: you never know when you might think of something to jot down. 2) magnet list on the refrigerator: trying to train the whole family, when something is low / runs out PLEASE write it on the list! 3) Specifically for Costco a "master list" I print out and check through. We go infrequent enough, and since it's a bulk item store, you don't want to miss the chance if you were already there. We only get very specific things there, so I like to run through the whole master-list for that store.

@MissRuthina

We write it on the blackboard we made and take a photo of it... This works because I'm not the one getting the groceries, primarily. This is the compromise between the analogue person (me) and the digital person (him). Nice

@andrewcurtis4907

I do the order thing, too, but in reverse - I start at the furthest point and work back. Of course, this has now gone out of the window as my local supermarket has had a major - and I mean major - reshuffle. Nothing is where it used to be. Nothing. To be fair, though, I'm trying to up my steps, so being inefficient is now a good thing

@I_wrote_it_down

Oh man… I haven’t seen video yet, but according to title — you are going to describe me and my passion to write and rewrite a lot…

@CinkSVideo

I would much prefer this method but my wife does most of our shopping so we have a shared digital list. She loves grocery stores and goes to several different stores. Her version of heaven would be lined with grocery stores.

@imoffthehillma8013

I absolutely do the same: I have small "add to shopping list" sections on various pages of my current notebook and, once it's shopping day, they are all transferred onto a brand new 'shopping list' page in the same book. Also in the order I'll find them in the store (I thought I was the only one...). In addition to that, groceries pop into my head on all the occasions you mention (hence appearing on various pages) and I also find satisfaction in scoring items off the list. In a different colour, of course.

@Alex-ib6tm

Wow even field notes can make me hungry now!

@davidwalls2304

Great fan of your channel and have been enjoying the videos more as I transition to using Field Notes. You are not the only person in the world that rewrites your grocery list. Having the list in order of where you will be walking is a timesaver. I made the mistake of not rewriting a list just the other day and I spent so much time walking all over the store -- NEVER AGAIN. Thank you for putting together your Field Notes videos. Have a wonderful end to the year!

@tinakoyama8258

I bet you do this also (as I do): As you are doing chores or tasks around the house, referring to your to-do list, you think of something spontaneously that needs to be done. You do it, and then later you write it on your list so that you can cross it out. 😉

@GaneshV24

One more wonderful video. I am using a Midori Diamond Memo book for my purchase lists and To Do lists almost exclusively. This gives me pointers for subsequent purchases. I prefer a multi pen with items in black and tick / scratch in red.

@darthblade2016

Haha, love the title and the explanation makes sense. A typical BFP video. 😃

@karenevans2157

what an awesome video! Love your grocery store map!

@nicoloprod

I love your vidéos !

@RaphaelaEdelbauer

Please do a review of the Travellers Notebook profucts. I have a feeling you may faint when using the brass pen clip and the pocket size camel brown notebooks.
