yeah no, I can't blame them for thinking zani used a broadblade, I can however fault them for not double checking when gacha is involved.

1. Leaks will show what weapon the character will use 2. Promotional videos/posts show what element and weapon the character has. 3. Literally the character sig weapon is under the characters' banner. I also thought Zani would be a broadblade user, but leaks helped what weapon mat to farm ahead of time.

If you're that dedicated to a new 5 star you could at least spare the effort of checking game8 for the weapon type... Or like, any other of the 20 sites that host that info

isn't the character's weapon type literally shown next to their name on the banner? I can't even begin comprehend how people make this mistake

It's funny when you use Zani in trial, you can actually see the gauntlet icon when attacking using her basic attack, and you can check her weapon if you open the character menu to double-check it first. It's not required for you to read, but what has happened can't be undone. Hope they can use that weapon for future characters that they like.

There's many video talking about her and leaks as well and when you try her out they even tell you shes gauntlet or you can view character to look at her weapon and there are websites as well. So it's on them for not reading

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . ... . . . . . . . . .... . . . . ... . . ? Who the heck pulls on a different limited weapon banner when their signature is right there ?!?!! I guess greed makes sense when you try to bridge betwen multiple characters sharing the same weapon, but really... =_=;; you eventually want to just go for the signature for the specific weapon more than anything later on, particularly when you need to use both characters at the same time for either the same team or two teams which you have to select at the same time It isn't worth it later on to only have one weapon for two or more characters in active teams -- it's why I eventually had to pull Abyssal Surges on standard (with the freebies and such) for Lingyang since he can't keep borrowing Zhangli Yao's weapon when he also needs it when I need both teams for stuff like Wimpering Wastes and such. Just go for the signatures of characters you actively use/play. Forget about compatability for multiple characters unless you are a newer account and need to be flexible with team setups. If you grab a limited weapon, you better make sure you plan on eventually playing the character it belongs to later as well

They definitely shouldn't expect characters to be locked by the weapons preset with Kuro, if you see a character throwing punches, don't immediately think it will be a gauntlet user, least Kuro surprise you when said character is in fact punching their broad blade towards the enemies 😂 Case in point, Ciaccona being a gun user is merely a suggestion 😅

I guess this is why I don't hear HSR players miss-pulling weapons. Can't mistake which is their weapon when it's literally them on a flat surface lol Then again rarely do 2 characters ever use the same type of weapon at all with the power of imagination XP

It's not even about about forgetting to read because in the convene page you can literally see her signature weapon there as a gauntlet! Also if you like a character to the point of pulling for them you'd at least check to see the kind of weapon they use, these people have only got themselves to blame.

Happened to me when I was new, didn't know there's swords and broadblade, chose the wrong 5 star weapon, nearly wanted to quit
