I really enjoyed the game, played on android and set it up on my retroid pocket to play with controlls. Your dev logs for this game is how i found your channel so i was happy to see it finished 🎉
Amazing!! good luck on your future projects
Incredible to see the number of downloads you had and how you handled the user reviews. I hope you enjoyed the experience and I cannot wait to see what's in your future.
colorblindness accessibility isnt a AAA only thing, I always design my environments and UI with it in mind regardless of if i have a setting for it or not and I'm also a solo dev. accessibility is important no dev should get a pass with something so easy to design around
Congrats. I hope it was a fulfilling experience for you and that you reached your goals.
Congrats for the launch! It took me about 4 years to make my first Steam game and it made about 800usd on launch week. The total revenue is now $1,362. Even thou it was kinda disappointing, I took it as success, because I learned programming from the 0 and gained a lot of experience on it. Next game will do better! Good luck with your projects and thanks for the video :)
Great game man! I have downloaded it on Android and that`s play great!!!
Cool journey dude! Good luck
I just downloaded and played the game. The game feel is very very good. I really liked it, good job! Hope the game gets lots more downloads.
congrats ! You can now buy 4,7 *10 ^ -12 grams of antimatter !
Playstore is so annoying. This game didn't appear ANYWHERE until I have just seen it from your video. And I'm the target audience for this kind of game
Hey I downloaded your game and left you a review. I have some feedback about your ad situation. I bought the game to support your efforts so this is a moot point for me but I can see why the ads might lead to bad reviews or for people to delete the game early. The timing of the ads is not great. a) They kick in pretty soon after the tutorial before the player has a chance to buy into the concept of your game. They will probably just delete the game and move on. b) They happen after the player has just lost they may already be frustrated and then an ad kicks in. Frustration x2 Make the ads more transactional so the player thinks they are making a choice and benefitting. I think this will increase your ad revenue. 1) Instead of automatically playing the ad, offer the option to watch an ad to extend the run. 2) Offer the option to watch daily ads to win some loot. Also put the upgrade button onscreen every time a option to watch an ad appears so more people are aware of it being there. They may not buy the game but it reminds them that the game is free because of ads or they can pay, which again gives them a signal that they are the ones choosing to watch the ads and you are not forcing them.
I have no context about this game - just randomly saw in my feed in no way am I trying to be mean, but making an endless runner for IOS/android is like making another young adult novel (or something like that I cant think of a good analogy) It just seems like such an oversaturated market, that you would need to make something REALLY special to get off the ground. Like others are saying, you have done surprisingly well because I think most people wouldn't even make more than 5 dollars :0
You handled that one star review really well. Congrats on releasing this game. I hope it continues to generate revenue.
Downloaded and played the game after this video popped up in my recommended feed 😅 I thought it was fun! I'm not much of a mobile gamer, so it's kind of not my type of game and I'm not very used to in-game advertisements (I hit my first ad and it pulled me out of the game mentally, I was like "oh yeah, I have other things to do today" and stopped playing - definitely a "me" thing). I'd like to play again and see some more stuff you've put into the game, but that'll probably be it for me. I wanted to comment, though, that there are several typos/grammar errors in the text of the game which would hopefully be an easy fix that might improve some impressions. There's a sense of polish to the gameplay and menu animation which I like, so I think some touch-ups to the text might support that feeling of quality.
NZ OMG YAY
Missed opportunity to reply with "just die less" when someone complains about ads.
$100-ish ad revenue from 14k iOS downloads means you really show those ads rarely. One per minute interstitial ad (which is less ads than in any contemporary hypercasual) should have yielded around $1500 at least.
i download
