The amount of bile these 'journalists' spout against Chelsea is mad, and all because Maresca rightly called them out for doubting us. Darren Lewis was going off before the game saying that 'Chelsea don't have a chance', and that 'Forest will have the advantage'. It physically pained him that Chelsea came away from that with a win.

Murphy saying Chelsea wouldnât have qualified for Europe in most seasons. Such a stupid thing to say. Like saying Liverpool wouldnât have won the league in most seasons as 84pts is a low number to win the league with. Itâs irrelevant because this season IT WAS ENOUGH! Iâd love a clued up Chelsea fan to go on here and shut the negative Chelsea spin down . He only said Chelsea werenât ready to win the league but never said 5:03 qualifying for top 4/5. In my opinion: he has done well and this is his very first season, he needs more time to develop this team into a winning machine. Letâs give him his praise. If Chelsea wins the conference title then they have had a better season than most teams in the league.

How is there a question? Has Maresca had a good season or not? Seriously? The youngest squad in prem history. A GK who majority of the fans and pundits unanimously agreed is the worst in the league. A striker who again, majority of the fans and pundits have agreed isnât good enough to be starting for a relegation club, little own a team who is securing top 4. When Romeo Lavia and Reece James are fit and available, there are considered to be in the top 5 players at the club, but this season, up until the last 3 months for Reece, and the last 5 weeks for Lavia, they were both out injured. So therefore Chelseaâs next midfielders that Maresca could put on the pitch if he ever wanted to rest Caicedo or Fernandez was Kiernan Dewsbury Hall or a youth academy player. So to even ask the ridiculous question of âdid Maresca have a good season?â is insulting and anti Chelsea rubbish. He had an unreal season and now that Chelsea have CL football next season, they will be able to buy a proper number 9 and strengthen their depth in the fullback positions and they need to put Andrey Santos straight into the first team to rotate with Fernandez If the club are going to be careful about transfer budget due to PSR, then itâs quite obvious that Petrovic is easily good enough to play as GK next season. He already showed himself to handle the pressure of playing for Chelsea in the 2nd half of the 23/24 season under Poch, and now he went and was arguably the best performing GK in Ligue 1 for Strasbourg.
