Now I'm wondering if i should keep my R7 and run a 2 camera setup.
Decided not to wait and picked up the mark II a couple of Months ago. No regrets. I think higher MPs is a mistake. We have the R5 for that.
I bought an R6 Mark 2 just a week ago that was used for 6 months and had 1,600 shots. (price 1,600 euros) Paying twice that amount and buying an R6 Mark 3 is not appealing to me.
I like everything but the price tag š, maybe I should get a R6ii instead of waiting š
for wildlife or sport, I would said canon should focus on R7II. R6III should be just a general usage hybrid-camera.
Canon needs to lower their lens prices.
Iām considering upgrading from my r8 to a 6mk2 simply because I cannot stand the tiny battery.
will that high MP make the noise way higher like the R5 and R7? its nice to not have to go R1 or R3 if you want low noise and IBIS
what happened to the 200-800 that's usually on the shelf?
after 6mths delaying my camera upgrade, I've just gone with the pleasantly discounted R6mkii and these latest rumoured specs don't have me regretting that choice. If it has all-i and/or 12bit colour it might warrant an upgrade in a few yrs.
Well I bought a used Canon R three and a half years ago, and I still use it most every day. Got it for half price. Would be fun to buy a brand new camera, but I'm guessing it will be to expencive for me.
Higher mp count but still have fast readout speed? I'm worried about the dynamic range and low light performance.
Thanks to Adobe's denoising feature, I've gotten surprisingly decent images on an R5 II at ISO 12800 and even 25600. I need to go back and re-edit some of my old photos that I had abandoned.
They cant keep releasing updates of models where the image quality goes backwards. Never been so demoralised as when I saw the image quality on R5 mkii. Silly me thought that having 14 bit raw files in all modes would give an advantage in noise and dynamic range. It's sat unused since and soon will be gone. Never going to be an early adopter again. Fortunately, I kept the mk i.
Love your laugh. Just decided not to wait for the miii and rather buy a 2nd markii, Thank you.
As long as we keep the noise performance of the r6m2 we good going 32megapickles
I wonder about its HFR capabilities. My understanding is that the R6 mk2 does 4k 60 and HD 120, but are these skipping lines? The higher resolution would make it even harder to down sample in high frame rates. Will it crop for HFR?
Way too much rambling and repetitive talking in this video.
