important thing to note, next time you see the credits the censored bits will not be censored, and there will be spoilers, so skip the credits next time you get an ending.
Takumi: “Unlike me they have people they love waiting for them up there” It seems like Takumi never forgave his mom for that “always wanted a daughter” statement. lol
It only took you 20 episodes, but congrats on beating the tutorial Nico.
Takumi after Nozomi/Karua’s death: I have no reason to go back to the satellite, the only person I cared about is gone. There is no one I love waiting for me up there. His mother from the intro who raised Takumi with love and support, providing him with an incredibly stable home life that most of this cast would kill for: Well guess I’ll go die then.
Heads up; The credits for Ending 0 blacks out the names of anyone/anything that doesn't appear before Ending 0. The other endings, however, have all of them uncensored, even if you get an ending that doesn't introduce anyone new. So, to avoid spoilers from the game itself, you'll want to skip them.
How nice of Kodaka and Uchikoshi to give us the sequel right after finishing the first game! Time to do it 100 more times!
Congratulations on beating the game. Your reward is the game
I regret not posting this in yesterday's video, but I might as well post it here in reference to that part where Eito was hiding under the bed while Takumi and Nozomi were talking. The myth of "consensual" sex Takumi: "I consent!" Nozomi: "I consent!" Eito: "I don't!" Isn't there somebody you forgot to ask?
Uchikoshi: “Okay, we’ve had your school setting with super talented high-schoolers. Now it’s my turn.” Kodaka: “Fine, you can put in your time travel & multiple timelines now.”
the coolest part about takumi in this ending is it shows what kind of person he was through the gameplay and story. Other than in the beginning, when he decided to save Karua the game doesn't give you a decision to make through the 100 days. Takumi was very much the guy to just go with the flow. But after losing so much and suffering, he decides that it is time for him to take control of his life and be more assertive in his decision making. I think it cool that they show that character development through the fact that you don't really get to decide anything in this route.
He’s finally done after 20 long episodes he’s reached the end… …of the prologue.
I rarely comment but I really want to ask something of you, Nico. Please choose your decisions based on what you feel and believe you would do if you were there, at least for the first time! I want to see YOUR ending. Don’t game-ify any decisions right away. Choose what you truly believe the first time. You’ll have plenty of endings to get through! Also, I know everyone is mentioning it already but please be sure to skip the credits for any other endings! Just to keep things as a surprise, I know I ended up seeing things I wish were a secret.
Congrats on finishing the tutorial, looks like Takumi’s summer vacation is….. over.
Congrats on beating the prologue Nico! Endings complete: [0/100]
It's honestly kind of messed up that Takumi doesn't even consider his family at all. Like, Karua is super important to him, but he doesn't even take the chance to see his mom or anyone else again.
Now Nico finally understands why it was so hard to explain how the various endings come into play. I honestly think the gameplay story integration here is genius, especially through the foreshadowing done in the fight against Eito where he mentions how his Specialist Skill evolved. The build up and lead up to Takumi using his power to go back in time is honestly one of the coolest gaming moments ever for me now.
Congrats Nico! You’ve finally finished the prologue!
"We just found out the craziest shit! Are you ready for this? We-'re just kidding! Enjoy your time travel or whatever."
