Like some day want to build my own gaming budget computer someday, but I don't have any room. This room is the main problem. I finally got a mailbox from the house. had used Po. Carey What Happens if you have 2 Hat Synology Drives in a Raid1 and then take out 1 Drive and put in a Say WD Red or any other drive. Will the raid start . Or will Synology complain you have incompatible drive ? If it does re raid1 can you then put in another non Synology Drive in Bay 3 and try to do raid5. I thinking it won't work.
