It was good to keep it simple, perfect for this video - and even also good for a song. When it sounds like in a life stream, it would be perfect!

Sure, it's like a life version of a song, a good life version. Most songs wouldn't need 15 instruments in it, a guitar and singing or a piano and singing to it is often really great!

But nevertheless your version here is good! The different instruments and your backgrounds vocals add much to the song!

Well, I wrote the opposite two paragraphs above... all right, it depends on so many things... When you feel it's easy to record it with more "perfection", then do it! When you feel like you want to give out a song just like in a life stream, only with a guitar and singing, do it! It's fine!

I like this look station😊

@richard--s

That was a great video! We could see what's going through your mind, how you come to a song. I'm sure there might be multiple ways, whatever goes through your mind!

Oh and it was a good thing that you recorded your loop station session, so you didn't loose it completely.

By the way, you could record such sessions even when you don't want to make it into a video, but just in case when you want to go back to an older version, you at least know how it sounded... Maybe it helps, maybe not, maybe for anyone out there, who knows...

Yes, it's a great video, many thanks!

And "Dusty Memories" with all it's lines all it's ideas - it's a great song! Everyone has some dusty memories, everyone can relate to this...!

@ronjazimmermannmusic

Oh wow, it‘s so fascinating seeing your songwriting process. It’s so inspiring! Love it ❤️

@Achim5

I used to get those magnetic bottle openers from each city I visted, but nowadays I don't get anything on purpose anymore and just keep random things like coins, tickets etc. if they mean something to me

@EdwardBarrick

Watching for a second time before the livestream starts and “Dusty Memories” makes me think of those memories you haven’t remembered for a while. Something triggers a thought of a time long past that you haven’t thought of in a while. Those dusty memories that can hit like a tonne of bricks.

@richard--s

Dusty memories, that can be old memories, almost forgotten, like the first love in Kindergarten... Was it love? Good friends at least, playing together in the garden, trying to build this and that, it was a good time. Then her dad got a job somewhere else and they moved far away... that was sad...

Put some sentimental old memories in virtual boxes in your mind and look at them from time to time... it feels good...

@st8111

Huh, I never knew all the songs you mentioned were written with the loop station. Great to see it being dusted off! 🥔

@_5peace_

I love seeing how all of the different elements merge together into one piece! On their own it doesn't sound like much but at the end it's full song 🥔

I have so many KeepSakes in form of cuddly toys 😍
Every stuffed animal has a story and will always be a big part of my life.
I love to look at them and remember the good and also the bad story they keep ❤
