No matter who comes along and makes a claim as a superior athlete, Crosby will ALWAYS be number 1 for me. As a kid who grew up not even half an hour from where he did, I feel like my life has always partially been me looking up to him. Not even necessarily as an athlete. Just as an example of someone who is upright, hard working, and resilient. No better role model.

Crosby won't age until he literally can't skate or keep up. His relies on hockey IQ, knowing where to be and how to develop or shut down plays. That's something he won't lose

The league is way different than it was, gordie howe would never be able to play until 52 in todays nhl. Apples to Oranges and Sid rightly so should be considered because of how well he's playing in a league much harder to play in than the old days
