This was a cool beginner tutorial for craps. This game intimidated me when I first saw it on display over 20 years ago. Now it’s my favorite game to play when I go into any casino. I literally learned the game in an hour after a dealer showed me the ropes on a slow night at Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City. You explained the game perfectly with this video.

@isildur42

Played for the first time on a cruise last week after watching almost all of your videos! So much fun! Was intimidated at the beginning but the other players were very friendly and I got more comfortable and then I managed to walk away up almost 300%! Looking forward to playing again! Thanks for this channel, it was super helpful to not appear to be completely uninformed.

@Gubers

Just played for first time this weekend. It was definitely very intimidating at first but once I learned the basics it was pretty fun. I ended up winning about $400 playing mostly $10 bets. I am so upset I didn’t learn earlier. I thought blackjack was good odds but I have run into many tables where the cards just seem rigged in favor of the dealer. Like 4-5 card 21ers over and over again. Craps seemed to be so much more winnable. And it’s way more fun! I ended up have 20+ throws my first time and I had 38 throws on my last game of the weekend. It was wild! It’s pretty awesome when the whole table is cheering you on because you’re winning them a bunch of money! And also pretty cool when you’re winning a bunch of money yourself haha.

I watched 3 of your beginners videos and just walked out of casino up $180! That was my first time at a table and I felt like I knew everything that was happening. Thank you brother for being so thorough and helpful.

Thank you for this and your other videos. They are generally well done. The one thing I can't find that I think would be helpful for every beginner is about 5 minutes of play with ONLY pass line bets. People need to see the basic grind of the basic game play for several rounds to get it firmly into their heads. THEN it would be apprpriate to show a couple more bets like the odds bet. I would also avoid any early on discussion of the odds because that complicates things for a beginner. I would stick to showing the basic pass line bet and basic game play. Yes that is surely boring for a professional but for a beginner they need to see the basic structure. It might also be helpful to show that with 3 players, all pass line betting. Anyhow, thanks again.

@navusmc

Still have no idea on how to play 🙈

@andrewcarr2431

Good lesson. I've always found Craps to be "Roulette with dice", as I was a roulette player, yes I know it is the worse odds of most table games... and the way I explain it to people is similar to a horse race. You stake your bet on a number (horse) if it rolls you win, if you hit 7 you lose. Field is a spread bet - easy to understand. Don't bets are essentially betting on your number (the horse) to lose. That is your meat and potatoes of the game, everything else on the table is gravy (profit bets).

@rizon72

You get a good group around the table, its a lot of fun. My first craps game had a group that was friendly. Being my first time I mostly played the pass line, only getting more adventurous after a little bit. It was slightly intimidating to have a crowd around the table watching. But I did well enough with the dice to gain some friends.

@grif13

As always great vid J. A big part of craps, besides the mechanics of the game is the etiquette. When I was learning I wish someone had told me to follow the stickman. Stick down -ask questions, get change, make bets, etc. Stick up - Hands out. Thanks again.

Hi! I’m part of the Loca family and Tony sent me over. Thank you for explaining this game. I was bewildered at how to play, so I’ve never tried it.

@BlpBud

I used your series of videos to win $105 at a nickel table my first time out!
Very helpful and hope to return the favor soon.

@jblack1979

Good breakdown I pretty much learned how to play from watching your videos about three years ago thanks for all the help!!

@johnyoung1601

This video was perfect for me, thanks! I am traveling out of the country and wanted to visit a casino. My go-to game is blackjack, but I don't like to play if the payout at a table is 6:5. I figured if I could learn enough craps just to get playing, then even if blackjack doesn't work out, I have an alternative. This video was perfect!

@theonlyjsal34

Heading to Vegas this morning! Super excited to try Craps!

@Cbbc4460

I would say hardways while being biggest house edge and riskier obviously is the easiest bet to understand at the craps table

@Xonid1

The first time that I walked up to a crash table I had the same feelings that I had deer hunting called buck fever.

@nathanthepilot2008

I really enjoy your videos! I am brand new to the game and watched several of your videos for instruction and betting strategies. I've always wanted to learn Craps and now I can say I know how to play! I just played my third game ever and although I did not do well I still had fun! It still is an intimidating game and I was hoping to try a couple new things but I ended up being the only person at the table. So my losses added up real quick. I've been practicing with and (trying to) playing with the betting strategy you showcased with John Boender. Thanks for the great content!

@bigwill-t9t

It was very fun and I'd definitely play it again

@Curtains1337

That table is fresh Jeremy.

@nickp7186

Saw you over at La Lida Loca! Craps has always interested me but I’ve never taken the time to learn. Will check out more of your videos!
