The fact that you always smile,, was the first thing that tipped the scales in your favor during the interview
Great advice. And the thumbnail is so good. Thank you ✌🏻
I remember my first resumes, it was like 3 pages full of crap haha. good times. nowadays, I just put something in one page and that's it. don't even bother with resumes that much nowadays because the real test is interview and slkill tests.
Perfect timing Utsav! Right in the middle of an attempt to transition from my current organisation. Thanks!
We all love and appreciate your vlogs and the way we are getting this tips and tricks and future roadmap
Your first resume puts my very first resume through embarrassment. For some odd reason I don't know, I decided to use Smiley emojis as bullet items, and created coloured cards for each section. And it is three pages long, because I copied the abstract of each of my projects I submitted to college. I still wonder how I got two offers with that, maybe I'm lucky or my colour choice somehow made the reviewer think "This guy might've accidentally applied for a software firm thinking about some comedy show. Let's call him anyways to have some fun in our stressed lives too."
Solid Advice....Thanks 🙏
This is becoming my favourite Software Engg channel
Great video utsav.. thanks for wonderful tips
You provide the most genuine and valuable software engineering advice on youtube! Thanks and keep posting. I had a question, shall we keep publications on top of the resume for Machine learning-related JDs?
True, Resume is kinda like a thumbnail, it must highlight you
Funny enough, in India there are quite a few recruiters who would raise eyebrows if you have a very clean resume and expect loaded with words and multiple pages .
Can you give an example of a beginner resume that you wished you wrote back when you had no work experience and only side projects?

Lol I literally just sent out a bunch for internships a few days ago. Wish I waited and watched this video
Another gems from the your thesaurus!!! Much appreciated #Utsav
As always, amazing content. :washhands:BTW, do you think should we add academic projects to our next CV, if we are doing a postgraduate program while full-time working? Let's assume we are studying totally different technologies compared to the full-time job.
