Only reading the manga: The art is amazing, always loved mashimas art. Shiki is… ok. I think I like him more than Natsu but right now their pretty much even. Mostly just ok. Rebecca is more interesting which echoes my feelings of ft (Lucy being more interesting than Natsu) The rest of the cast are ok. I want to get more interactions with just the main cast that isn’t action. Villains: so far Drakken Joe feels the most explored, shura doesn’t do it for me but I’m liking the mystery around Ziggy. I think my major issue with the series are the surrounding cast like the OS Galáctica, Justice, labilia feeling very one note . I’m sure the series will explore more so I’m hopeful it’ll only get better as the series goes on. But right now not into several of these characters

I just wanna say that its not rlly similar to OP with plot, if u think about it, what kind of pirate does not go on search for some Treasure? I get what u mean with OP but at the same time im tired of comparisons, tbh EZ is more similar to Treasure planet which i btw rlly recommend. Its a good watch

People need to avoid using this word just for being cool. That's really awkward and your analysis is more subjective than objective since your ignoring how Shiki development is breaking the shonen tightrope cliché of always saving everyone... Even i use "awkward" i'm saying that in a respectful way
