@Chris-md1cf

I watched this video 10 times before painting my room. My wife LOVED the job I did. Thanks so much.

@rickfromthecape3135

I'm a retired painting contractor with 50 years experience. You without a doubt give the best painting tips on YouTube. Haven't seen one yet that I disagree with ...... although I might have put tape over the top of the baseboard to avoid those pesky little dots coming off the roller when the wall is a darker color. ;-)

@superbad3591

My dad never taught me a thing despite being a great craftsman, the booze came first, Im blessed to be born at a time where I can watch and learn from guys like you, thanks man. Shane from Ireland

@TGF120

From one professional to another, this man is 100%. That is rare for YouTube πŸ˜…. Spot on pointing out the (lazy) mistakes

@suzismith9681

Thanks to you, I have just about completed my first bedroom. I'm 70 never used a paint roller or sanded walls. We have a 120 yo home. The ceiling has not been touched by us , 35 year owners. Due to health problems, I got a painter in to do this. I used a sealer on the woodwork and it looks awesome. No paint on the carpet either! So this year, I've conquered the roller, sprayer, and caulking. Thanks to you. I'm so pleased I could be bothered to try. I've also sanded french doors stained and varnished, reglazed them and hung them back up again with new hardware Inc hinges. I'm on a roll!

Notes!

Remove cover plates
Dust and sand wall
Open and mix paint
Angle brush to quarter inch away from edges until loaded with paint (let it fan out)
Gradually sneak up on edge to cut
Paint all edges, including under cover plates (about 4”)
Wash angle brush immediately
Pour paint into liner and load up roller brush
Start very gently, go over uneven areas, stretch out paint
Cling to wet edge, keep lead edge wet, no breaks!
Pull out lint and back-roll, consistent texture
Never change direction (always vertical!) short rolls when necessary
Give at least an hour
Sand the wall again
Load up angle brush, and wipe post of paint off, use less this time
Precision cut all edges on wall
Roller the wall for second coat (don’t move on to other wall), lighter layer
Clean paint out of roller sleeve (throw away roller sleeve?)
Don’t hang anything on wall for 48 hours or so, and wait 30 days before washing

@croftofficialmusic

Not only do you give expert advice, but as a narrator/presentor, I really appreciate how easy you are to listen to. No BS, no annoying inflection, just straight to the point, but still being interesting wnough to not get bored watching it. This video helped immensely, thank you.

@PandolfoCarla

AI will never ever come close to a human who teaches with PASSION. Came for the painting and stayed for the vibe πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™Œ thanks!!

@StunnyPaintingServiceLlc

I admire people who take their time to help others.

@sandsband

I'm not even painting anything and watched this whole video. So relaxing and informative

@mariegerald9308

I want to paint a bedroom for first time and I watched painting for beginners and it amazed me on different things that painters that painted my house did not do the things I watched you do. Now I need to get started.

@christinagonzalez1743

This is my second time watching your painting videos as I’m slowly remodeling my house room by room. The bathroom turned out wonderful and now onto the kids room. I really enjoy painting! But I’m sure your tips and having all the proper tools have really helped

@IBZChicken

I've painted my whole house like a pro and it's all thanks to you. You taught me everything worth knowing when it comes to painting like a pro. When people ask how I knew what I was doing, I say uncle Jeff taught me! πŸ˜…

@LuannaMcFarland

This DIY tutorial on painting a room is an absolute must-watch for beginners. It has a clear instructions, from choosing the right paint and tools to mastering the techniques, turned what I thought was a complex project into a straightforward, satisfying DIY endeavor. I couldn't be happier with the results.

@carls1600

I've painted my entire house (walls, ceiling) and your videos were what gave me the confidence to do it! Not to mention learning that DIY stuff doesn't have to be this daunting, weird thing. Appreciate your content!

@MiriamWilliams-w9c

This is a lifesaver for someone like me who had never painted before. The step-by-step instructions were incredibly clear and made the process feel manageable even for a novice. I'm now confident I can tackle my painting projects with ease, all thanks to this helpful tutorial.

@knowmeurgoddess

I have been painting since my late teens. 20 years in. You are by far the greatest at what you do. Thank you!

@onenikkione

Have a bucket with warm water and rag nearby to instantly wipe any small error. After sanding, run your dry hand across the wall, if there is dust from sanding wipe the walls clean. Use a mildly sticky roller on your paint roller to remove loose fibers before using it to paint @ 15:49 he removes some fibers from the wall. Before you start cutting in with the brush, load up your roller and leave it in the paint tray (not in the paint area) and place the tray in a 13-gallon garbage bag (so it doesn't start to dry out), this preps the roller & gives time for the paint to soak in.

@Srt4BeastMan

Just finished a room the other day! I used a lot of your information from removing wallpaper, to patching holes, to laying on new paint! Thank you so much! You gave me the confidence to do it!
