I always thought the World Trade Center should have been built to be 1776 feet tall and have the spire bring it to 1973 or 2001 feet tall.

"Spire" is only a different name for Antenna. Imagine if hight of a human would be counted with a hat on.

Fun fact: In 1981 they once stacked both of the twin towers on top of eachother to make a super trade center, people didn't like it because they were afraid of heights and the upper tower wobbled too much so they put it back to normal.

Fun fact: The tallest structure in North America is the KVLY-TV Tower in North Dakota.

They really limited themselves by making it have the same roof height as the original 1 WTC. It’s also much skinnier with fewer floors so it has like 2/3s the floor space as well.

the Steinway tower is my fav skyscraper, absolutely love the design of it. Also it just being the skinniest skyscraper in the world adds to it.

It’s actually the One World Trade Center bc it does not have an antenna it has a spire which is part of the building and with the spire it is taller then Central Park tower and Willis sry for being a know it all

it’s the one World Trade Center at 1776 feet. They picked that height because the USA gained its independence in 1776

I still find it a scam that the Willis tower's antenna doesn't count to architectural hight because it wasn't part of the original architectural design. But it's a way more architecturally interesting/unique and ads lot more to the building then the OWTC's simple antenna.
