He was an old school and unfortunately he didn’t know anything about streaming fraud like younger generations. This guy was a legend and every view and stream he has is genuine. That’s why he was in financial problems. That’s sad.

The man made some timeless bangers, that's for sure. gangsters paradise literally never gets old. I grew up listening to that song after coming to the US and it still feels just as fresh as it did back in the 90s.

One of the moments that brought me to respect Coolio in recent years was being a mentor for a short while to the mega-hiphop group BTS, who are now the biggest most popular band, in both KPop & not in KPop, in the world right now, & that's not a stretch. He taught them a little bit about history, fashion & then some words of inspiration ... "The most important thing, keep on pumpin' your heart. Stay dedicated to your crafts, stay dedicated to your life. So if the music is your life, you must be very dedicated to it,...Do it because you love it." --- Coolio to BTS (in 2014)

As a native of Inglewood, California, I've been to a few Coolio shows and respected him. I never did like Gangsta's Paradise which 'cause a lot of arguments and my class. But I luv Fantastic Voyage, 1, 2, 3, 4, Too Hot and countless others.. Respect 🙏 Coolio for showing luv to 2Pac while Pac was incarcerated in Tupac's video - Temptations...
