I find the labeling of the Egyptian gods "evil" troubling. On the one hand, because the Egyptians did not fundamentally judge their gods morally, but on the basis of which of them served maat and which of them did not. On the other hand, because the Egyptian gods are quite complex characters, they have both positive and negative qualities, and their assessment was not uniform in Egypt.

Thank you so much for not listing the crocodile god, God Sobek. So many people, historians and the media badly misunderstood that god. He's indeed a crocodile-headed god but that doesn't mean he's evil.
