Honestly i recommend getting a platypus flosser. Had it for over a year with braces annd worked out great.

Electric rotating toothbrush is what I use for my braces and it does the job well :)

I’m using braces for 4 months and I agree that the manual one is better and much easier to use because I have full control on it. I also use water flosser, manual flosser, and mouth wash to make sure my teeth is completely clean.

I use oral b pro 1000 and I loveeeee it, but it does take a bit more time to use in my opinion

I got braces and when I first I tried the electric toothbrush it was really hard to control. It was going all over my worries so definitely don’t use those. The other things that’s bad about them is if you have small teeth and your brackets take up most space on your teeth.

You guys are saying it takes long with the electric. That’s because you are supposed to be brushing for 2 mins. The electric toothbrush is set to go off in 2 mins automatically, so actually the electric is way better than the manual. The way he’s brushing isn’t the correct way to brush with a manual. It’s supposed to be in circular motion. Every time I go get an adjustment, my ortho says my brushing is great. Same when I go get my cleaning, my dentist says the same thing, and I use Waterpix water flosser, and Sonicare electric toothbrush. At least 2x a day.
