I buried my husband a year ago. No, I am not going to be dating. I'm too old to date. I don't want to have to take care of someone else. If I wanted to sit and listen to contrary views and disdain for Trump, I could call my sister. She has one of the worst cases of TDS I have ever been exposed to! My hearing is still very good, so I am not going to subject myself to lunacy in the short time I have left on earth!

This might be a little long, but I have the perfect story for this 6 years ago I met my husband and at the time, I was a hardcore liberal, but he was a Republican, a hardcore Republican. And some of the arguments we would have would be so outrageously crazy. But I found that a conservative man, a Republican man, was so much better to b better. Because republican men, they care about family values.They care about wanting to provide for their families.And do the best that they can and be the men that they want to be in their families.And i've felt absolutely in love because now he's my husband and we're trying to have a baby.This is the man I definitely see myself spending the rest of my life with.I am so happy that I found him and we are really, really happy together.And we are about to celebrate one year in august

My son is having such a hard time finding a conservative gal in his age group. He’s very old fashioned in a lot of ways but mostly he wants to be able to meet someone that has a social media feed that doesn’t scare him! He’s 19 and their generation is struggling!

Just to let everyone know Massachusetts is now trying to pass a bill to restrict the amount of miles residents can drive their vehicles in a year. Who are they to say how much anyone should be driving? And then what if you go over the limit because you took a road trip you have to let them know or pay a fine? It's none of the governments business what anyone is doing with or in their vehicles! That is not freedom! This is supposed to be America. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP US SAVE MASSACHUSETTS 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I'm old by your standards - 69 - but in 1976 I was 20 (turned 21 just before the election) and my boyfriend was 26 and a liberal Democrat through and through. Obviously, he was Carter-Mondale fan and I was voting for Ford-Dole in my first presidential election. I teased him a lot about how he was perfect except for his gigantic blind spot when it came to politics. It didn't matter much at all, in reality, because at that time politics in America were much more like a true bell curve. Lots of Rs and Ds in that big center with mostly the same core values. And if you met him, my bf was a very straight arrow kind of guy - honest, community and family oriented, worked hard (though he had a government job in the Dem mayor's office of our town for awhile), did lots of charity work organizing big events for local and national organizations, etc. Our political differences didn't matter at all to us as we respected one another and all our core values (and even smaller values) aligned. We were together for 7-8 years. I don't think that's possible in today's world. The differences are just too fundamental and the bell curve is gone. It has been replaced by a curve with two big lumps - one in the center and one at the far left. I can't imagine even being attracted to someone who aligns with the Democrat party.
