Terrific discussion and comments. This so much reminded me of how I conducted my business and started by doing everything. After working for Truly Nolen, Orkin and Sanitas Service Corporation (public company) I purchased my own first business in the 70's. Nice to see someone who busted his butt and exceeded so well.
Interviewed with Ken Fox for an Employment Opportunity with Presto. Seemed like a Good Individual.
Nice video💝
I once worked for this guy, such a jerk to work for! Daily insults, name calling and unnecessary badgering. Micromanaging was an understatement! God forbid you stop at WAWA to use the bathroom and had to wait for an empty stall,he'd call you or have one of his office women call you asking why you're there! If you're were lucky, you'd have 3 hours of actual pest control, the rest was trying to sell his overpriced services in an area saturated with dozens of other companies. Then get yelled at for not selling, when he's the most expensive. I'm glad i was able to leave his company!!
Great interview. Hopefully Ken happens across this comment. Ken said techs treat 6 hours a day and do tech ops 2 hours a day - so 30 hours a week of tech work. Also said his techs billed $8000/week. So techs are billing $267 per hour? Perhaps in this example they are teching 40 hours / week - so $200 / hour. This is an incredible billable per hour. I would love to learn more about how you did this as my little bit of experience with most commercial is it is grossly underbid by competitors and therefor we have stayed mostly out of commercial. My comment is sincere not sarcastic. I own and operate a pest control company in Arizona and trying to grow it to someday sit in Ken's seat there in Puerto Rico across from Paul.
The people demand this face!
Smoking is injurious to health.I am very alarmed by the scene of assaulting dangerous gusts of smoke which repeatedly engulfed the guest. This is indecent and disgusting.
