Thank you for doing an Android video. I have needed this. I have an S10e and was still able to find by digging a little most of the things you covered and I needed badly. Thanks again and YES do a video on degoogling - much needed.
Thank you. Just got a new A54 and turned off most of those settings. Great directions.
Thanks! I didn't realize that the setting in find my device was on
If you haven't already done it, an expanded video on just the Location Permission of Apps would be very helpful. I have a ton of these, allowed all the time or sometime. But I have no idea which I should restrict or not. I don't want to turn off something I really need on. Please consider a video or written medium to provide some guidance. Thank you very much.
Most of this are Samsung related, not vanilla Android like on pixels. Thanks for the video, always appreciate it.
Very helpful, many thanks guys!
You both are amazing keep up im big fan btw i learned too much useful things from you guys keep up guys
Yes! Please do a "de-Google" episode if you can. It looks difficult, though. I use Samsung Android tablets...and Apple iPhone (go figure...). I've enjoyed content elsewhere on installing GrapheneOS and the like...but it appears it can only be done on Google Pixel phones. You two put out the most easy-to-understand security content on YouTube! Mahalo!
Great information!! thanksπ
That was a lot of great info. Thanks.
Interestlng note: many of these potentially nefarious settings descriptions read " This setting will improve . . . ." Wait . . . "improve" my experience as a user, or "improve" how much information Samsung is gathering and sharing about me. MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS, Galaxy. Please continue making these awesome tutorials π
Love these guys. Commenting for the algorithum for them!
You're great, guys, excellent video and contents!
Thanks guys. Very helpful
You guys are awesome. De-google video, HECK YEAH!!!!!!!!!
Great information for Samsung Galaxy users
Great video. I had missed a few of these when setting up my phone. Samsung phones seem to include a plethora of privacy compromising apps/services. For example, on the topic of location even with location switched off there are 12 services that can use precise location "all the time", e.g. Samsung's "find my mobile" which I have switched off but is still running on the phone and I am not even signed in to Samsung account and it appears as "off" in settings. If I force close it will at some point restart. This is the same for other Samsung apps many of which can't be disabled or uninstalled or have their permissions modified.
I Love Edge Panels! So easy and quick to access the apps I use all the time. Camera (security), e-mail, notes, lights, ect.
Thank you. Just had to buy a new phone - after a fair bit of research based on my limited budget and usage needs, I purchased the Motorola g54 g5. Really happy with my previous Motorola g6 play which I had for about 5 yrs. Your video has been a blessing to me, I didn't know how to deal with all the setting options. Much appreciated π€·ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈππ
