I liked when you started talking about your guitar. The FIRE garbage, Scott Galloways ideas, sure they’re great… but they’re not you. Share your ideas! Your unique perspective. There’s glimpses of it and that’s what makes your channel worth watching. I don’t even remember subscribing, but I must have seen that glimpse last time around too. I’m struggling with what I’m going to do post FIRE. I could coast today. I’m volunteering. I hate it. I love it. I’m melting down. Thought FIRE would be an answer, but it’s just cracking the door to the last phase of life a little early… and I don’t like the glances I’m stealing of the other side.

Respectfully I’m going to have to disagree with this video. Now i could be interpreting things wrong but you say to invest a tonne of money to retire earlier but dont invest a tonne of time into a hobby which means you won’t retire early from something you love. However, in order to get that tonne of money you have to invest a tonne of time but because you see the direct link between time and money with working it seems like the smarter option. Delayed gratification is key in my opinion. There’s a reason your free throw sucks and you might suck at guitar and you said it yourself. You dont practice enough yet you still claim to have invested a tonne time into it. Consistency is important for improving and the same goes for working if you work on and off those investments gain slowly or they’ll drop and you’ll have to spend them. Finance bros will say they worked hard for their money that they got from studying forex and the markets but others will put it down to luck. Finance bros will go and say that these musicians, or scientists, or artist, or whatever, got lucky but those in those fields will put it down to hard work. For anyone taking the time read this long ass comment, put your success down to your own hard work rather than externallising it in things like luck and you’ll have no problem. I don’t mean any hate by this comment, would appreciate hearing more on your point of view ❤️
