I agree with the tips in the video. In my work I automated a repetitive process that at least consumed 6-10 hours every week. The problem was I don't measure the impact for my automation and don't show the impact to the company, only was a personal goal. Thank you for the advices.

Every single point here all depends on the type of company and the culture. As positive as the points in this video sounds if you attempt any of them at a bad company you will get mentally abused and shown the exit by incompetent managers with all the power at that company. You’d get excluded from projects, valuable information and even labeled as difficult to work with. If you find yourself in such a company play the long game where you do enough to get paid and find another job and if that new job is a company that strives to create a good work environment then all the points mentioned in this video will help.
