ifyou want to make this into a series, i would highly recommend mlp. the mlp and creepy pasta fandom grew along side each other, and luna game was one of the first (if not the first) .exe style games to be created, predating even sonic.exe

Bro @Sacrow that Spongebob episode of him turning into a snail, along with Squidward, that one is real and exists. I grew up in central america and remember watching it multiple times. Im 100000000000% sure of it. I clearly remember the transformations scenes, no doubt, the scenes kinda traumatized me as a kid lmao, they would always make me look away saying ew ew ew.

I can usually have a decently good tolerance for horror, but I personally literally cannot look at The Bikini Bottom horror comic. The imagery is so detailed in the art that it feels wrong to look at it, which in a way kinda adds to its narrative I suppose, I just personally can only take so much body horror. I also have really bad trypophobia and a lot of the art depictions trigger that for me so I just don’t look at it, but despite that I give major kudos to the original artist. The way they’re able to capture that hopelessness in the comic is really something, and specifically the image shown in this video of the ginormous Patrick creature towering over the Squidward creature is seriously such an interesting piece on its own. I’ll always find it interesting how Spongebob seems to be an artistic baseline for several different kinds of horror, wether it’s the creepypastas, artwork, or those trippy ytps that were popular back in the day, etc, it’ll always intrigue me about how people can use such an optimistic source to artistically depict existentialism in a way. It’s almost psychological.

Squidward's Suicide is classic "Creepypasta we all used to think was kino but now recognize as being terrible." It's also another example of a creepypasta that in hindsight was very obviously written by a very young person, probably a teenager.

I think what helped in this corruption was the decay in quality of the show itself. Grosser moments, idiotic plots, unlikeable characters, boring pacing... SpongeBob kinda dug its own grave when it decided to go on for too long.
