Eastern Europe where I live can be considered the 2nd world. These countries are fully developed and look no different than 1st world countries, the main difference is that people earn 3 or 4 times less, so the standard of living is lower. But in big cities it's closer to the 1st world.

I've always thought of 2nd world country as a country that was formally a part of the USSR. 2nd world countries aren't called 2nd world because of their development. However, it has naturally occurred that former USSR countries are mainly in between 1st and 3rd world countries in terms of wealth and prosperity. As long as I've been alive, I've always considered China to be a 1st world country.

According to Economy ,Countries in the world can de ROUGHLY divided into 5 different worlds . First world : (USA, UK, Ireland, Australian , New Zealand ,Canada) , West Europe counties ,(Japan , South Korea ,Singapore, Hongkong Taiwan ) Second world :few oil rich Middle East countries( like UAE , Saudi ,Arabia , Oman ) , CHINA ,,some East European countries ,Russia,Chile ,Uruguay , Third world : ,Argentina , Brazil , Mexico, , Turkey , Malaysia Fourth world : India , few Southeast Asian , few Southern Africa countries forgotten world : the rest

Not gonna say about China but if Russia is 2nd World How come UAE is Still a 3rd World ?? Knowing the Fact that UAE provides more Oil & Investment scopes to the 1st World Countries than the Arms & ammunition Russia provides to it's 3rd World Allies ?
