as a rae fan for quite a few years now....i had never thought she would use an Indian art supply! im so happy rn that she mentioned an art supply from my country and praised it sm too! (ive never used crayola tbh coz they are not manufactured in my country and its too costly on the internet in my location for a children grade art supply lol)
Hi Rae Thanks for trying Doms! You're my favorite artist on youtube Love from India ๐ฎ๐ณ!
I love when you post art supply review videos, but I miss actually seeing you draw and paint in this one. It helps give a sense of what the product is like to work with, and plus it's just really satisfying to see a talented person practicing their craft!
DUUUDE I'M SO HAPPY YOU TESTED OUT THE KOH-I-NOOR RAINBOW PENCILS!! I'm Czech, and growing up, the kids who used to have those pencils were the coolest!!! ๐จ๐ฟ๐จ๐ฟ๐จ๐ฟ๐จ๐ฟ
Bambino!!!!!! The best and staplest crayons ever that i love with my whole heart!! Fun fact about the ones you bought is that those are not wax based, but caolin clay based - that's why they're so vibrant and pigmented and why they give that nice coverage. Bambino has their set of wax crayons too, but I never liked wax based supplies so I haven't really used them after kindergarten. But those bambino crayons? Iconic.
Hi Rae, just want to point out that the Japanese painting in this video is actually a Chinese painting by Wu Ying.
As an indian ,as an artist,as an untimate fan of rae,and rae being my fav youtuber I'm crying!!! Infinity love from India rae! Love it! โค๐โค
If you look at those traditional Japanese art paintings with the long but puffy clouds, tall narrow mountains with the bulbous peaks, the shapes of the people (as demonstrated in this video) and the colors used, you will see how much of Dr Seuss' art style in his children's books was influenced by traditional Japanese art. Seuss was probably introduced to that art style during his time working for the military making WWII propaganda art. It's really amazing when you compare the two.
Hi Rae Love your vids โค I love how you tryed the Indian childhood art supplies ๐จ Love from India ๐ฎ๐ณ!
The graphite can also be used in a door lock if itโs sticky. The graphite will allow the door key to slide in the key slot with ease.
"And now lets make our way to Austria for the next art supplies" 7:13 The urge to not make that joke๐
Note: gouache is not "normally" in large jelly tubs, that's new and pretty bad. Normal gouache is either in small plastic jars or tubes like acrylics or oil.
The fact that I smiled ear to ear when you mentioned indiaโค I have been watching your videos since 2018 and have always been my comfort video thank you sooo much๐๐
I have graphite powder, and TBH, I don't use it all that much. I have made some tinted graphite watercolour paints with it, but that's about it. However, a year or two ago, I got some graphite putty for my daughter, and that stuff is next level. You can shape it into different drawing implements depending on the effect you want, and it is also water soluable and erasable. Although still messy, it is much easier/safer to work with than the poweder, because ventilation is not a concern.
3:59 YAAAAY! IโM SO GOAD YOU DID INDIA: DOMS! I am Indian and I really love Dons art supplies. Theyโre super awesome! They are such good quality and when they say their erasers are dust free, they are dust free. Iโm so happy you acknoledged our contries stationary!
I love seeing Slavic representation, we often get the short end of the stick โค I'm Czech and we're proud of Koh-i-noor here ๐๐
Bambino is considered peak when it comes to children's art supplies here, especially because of these crayons since they're not like normal crayons, they're closer to these plastic ones than wax ones. There's also an unique way of coloring with them: sharpen the crayon so the dust falls onto the paper and then rub it into the space you want to colour... kinda like that powdered graphite, but home-made and with bigger colour range
The Queen herself dropped a new video!!! Already made my day better
OMG I did not expect Czech! I'm from Czech and I'm soo glad you like them! And koh-i-nor are really best ๐
