The second he mentioned MBTI test, i paused this and i was on my browser looking for a free version, made the test, researched my personality, looked for careers that matched my personality type, ended up on Facebook scrolling through videos, and an hour later remembered that i didn’t finish this video. I’m not even sure it was an hour, maybe more, i can’t tell.
Anyone with adhd scrolling through comments while watching the video??
This is one of the best video explaining about ADHD I've ever watch! Usually I was like "okay.. and?", but while watching this video (while eating lol, because I need something to focus on) I kept nodding and saying "whoa" because I'm sure I did know about the things that you shared, but you explain in in a very simple and easily understand manner. Thank you very much!
Thank you very much. I am 30 recently self diagnosed myself with adhd. My life has been a rollercoaster with mostly downs and a very few ups. It was confusing frustrating and most of the time I hated myself. Watching your video gave me hope that i can climb out of this pit. Edit: Thank you all for the concern. I obviously know that I have to get help from an doctor, which I have been getting after my self diagnosis. Being aware that I have a problem instead of blaming myself was the first step.
From a Specialist of Internal Medicine and Psychotherapy I can only tell you with great admiration: YOU ARE SIMPLY INCREDIBLY GREAT. These 17:33 minutes are more practical than 20 sessions with a Doctor or 10 sessions by a Psychotherapist or 5 sessions by a Mental coach. Bravissimo and THANK YOU! Dr. Jadaan
Changed my life. Thank you
Hear me out: Skilled trades are made for people with ADHD. Not base labor blue-collar work, but trades and tradecraft. Careers that require skill, problem solving, creative thinking, and ability to adapt quickly. You can make the job process an art and completely expressive if you so choose, or quickly gain functional mastery and go into cruise mode. Trades are often kinetic in execution, allow you to fall into a rabbit hole of information, the projects change quickly so every week or couple months is a new challenge. I'm switching from illustration to advance vehicle electrical diagnostics because illustration lost challenge. The work available became too laborious, and I was getting bored and often slacking off at my job looking for more fun things to do. I like cars, electronics is a hole in my knowledge, so now I get to learn and play with cars while getting paid. win-win
I'm to ADHD to watch this video. I started it, then 4 minutes in, im already bored.
I don't know if I have ADHD or not, but I was diagnosed with it as a kid. I certainly relate to this whole video. I'm excited to start my day right tomorrow! Thank you Sir!
Answer here the point at which you paused the video and started scrolling the comments. I got to 2:04
13:20 I lost the game 😢
Thank you. People with ADHD around the world like me are glad that you are using your gift to help us with our struggles. Because of you, I was able to put my phone away and get the work that I'd been procrastinating on done, just like the hundreds of thousands of people who watched this video before I did.
Don't give up guys. We all going through the same situation. You, me, him, everyone here connected through the same thing. Hope I don't give up :))
Thank you for this. I was a complete failure until the age of 26. COmplete failure. Then I found a calling and I built an extremely, phenomenally successful career in the next 8 years. Almost like a miracle - that failure became a globally successful person and I worked in 20 countries with the greatest people - literal superstars. Then I went down a negative path, lost my career, and ended up in the worst place - in a bad job, around bad people, in terrible living conditions. No motivation to get out of bad. I never understood how I could do that phenomenal success, neither how I ended up losing it all. Now I understand it was ADHD. Now you give me motivation to get out of this again and rebuilt myself again, become successful, and improve my life. When I am tasked with the mediocre - I cannot find the motivation to do the bare minimum. When I have an exciting challenge at hand, I work harder and with more passion than anyone I ever seen. And I have the IQ to match it. Hope God gives me another exciting challenge so I can unleash my ADHD focus.
About 6 minutes into this video, I took the SIM card out of my iPhone 16 Pro and put it into my old iPhone 6. Now I can still get calls and texts but there’s no social media, no distractions. And honestly, I feel great already. It’s like a weight’s been lifted. I’m not constantly waiting for a notification or checking my phone for no reason. New phones feel like they’re designed to pull you in and keep you there. But now, I just do things. I’m more present. More free.
Your process is the only one that's ever helped me with my ADHD.
This video made me cry so much. I have 24 years and was diagnosed whilst 7 and second time while 11. For over 15 years every teacher, family member and specialist(?) told me that I'm just stubborn, lazy and i don't listen to them. Now even tho those diagnosis are valid my close ones are laughing at me when I bring this topic up
My son is ADHD and he has found his passion in science. Extremely hyperfocus and passionate on chemistry. He also exercises regularly and eats very little junk food. The key to his success was to recognize the bad side of ADHD and focus on the good. Thanks for the video.
I love you so much! Thanks a lot please keep making videos like these because people with this tend to get hopeless because they don't know better...
