I wish my doctor would listen to this…

@carolinelake4957

A GP refused to test my husband's homocysteine levels despite having the MTHFR. They said it was because they didn't know how to interpret the result's. He changed GP, his level was high! Now on appropriate supps.
Absolutely THE best explanation I've seen, thank you.

You are a brilliant man Sten. And you could have been an excellent lecturer at University for medical students. Most Professors don’t have your expertise to explain complex medical topics. You have a beautiful mind and personality. It’s proven by your amount of followers. ā™„ļøā™„ļø You are making an immeasurable impact in this world precious man.

@VitalEdge01

This was eye-opening, most people don’t realize that metabolic inflammation, not just cholesterol, can be a silent heart killer. Love how you broke down the role of glycation and its link to cardiovascular risk. A simple daily routine like adding a touch of garlic and short brisk walks post-meals can really help combat that.

@andoletube

Love the deadpan humor. Doesn't break character for a second.

@Susanne.Schnyder

I always watch you. Thank you for your clear English and for your relatable train of thought. You are making suggestions every "health champion" needs from time to time to carry on and enjoy life even more.

@bradboustead1682

Several comments: Most doctors don't like you asking too many questions. Most doctors don't like you making suggestions. Most doctors only like measuring things that there is a pill for (cholesterol, high blood pressure, etc).

@Stixenterprise

How can we bring holistic medicine to be covered by health insurance? Maybe a start by writing to RFK, Jr. šŸ¤”

This video is truly eye-opening! Most people never hear about homocysteine, yet it clearly plays such a huge role in heart and brain health. Thank you for breaking down the science so clearly and showing exactly what tests and nutrients can help reduce this hidden risk. This kind of practical, in-depth information is exactly what the world needs right now. Keep up the amazing work!

@paulthompson1001

Interestingly, I have an appointment with my cardiologist today regarding tests I get every 2 years. With this information from you, I'll be finding out if he is atuned to my total overall heart health. Should be another interesting meeting. Thank you.

@Moni-ui5bz

MTHFR - every day I learn more, it gets more complicated. How are we all still alive?

@ranrunnn5280

Please do a video on the optimal timing for various recommended supplements.

@johngalt97

I had chemistry classes in college, but the mention of the various molecular compounds and biological pathways in bodily functioning boggles my mind. Its not difficult to believe that modern industrial food 'engineering' could easily have a deleterious effect on one's health.

@QualitySeniorLiving

1. *Remethylation Pathway:* This pathway requires:
    * 5-MTHF (active form of Vitamin B9)
    * Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin)
    * Betaine (Trimethylglycine)
    * Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin)
2. *Transulfuration Pathway:* This pathway requires:
    * Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)
    * NAC (N-Acetylcysteine)
    * L-Serine

@hermodnitter3902

The best video on this topic! Super informative and also, super funny, love that dry humor!

@HealthInsightW

This video is incredibly eye-opening! So many of us focus only on cholesterol, but inflammation markers—like CRP levels—or blood sugar swings can be silent heart risks. It’s empowering to learn about tests and lifestyle tweaks our doctors rarely mention.

@jadwiga3775

Świetny wykład. Dziękuję doktorze!!!!
