@MusicVibeChannel

When was the last time you listened to "U Can't Touch This"?

@JohnW9012

Many rappers who called him a sell out for doing commercials, etc., ended up getting richer doing the same thing. They were hypocrites. He also never should have felt obligated to take everybody along with him when he gained success.

@Ispeakthetruthify

The funniest thing about Hammer was: Many people back in the day called him a "punk", "too soft", "commercialized", and wasn't "hood enough". But Hammer was more street and hood, than most of the people that were saying that about him. He just didn't have to portray that image, and was comfortable being the nice guy, who loved to make people dance and have a good time.

@marlonthompson4539

It's ironic how hammer had more street cred in Oakland than just about all the dudes who dissed him. And most of em went on to either die or "sell out" the same way hammer did. They hated on that man for getting paid. Straight up.

@sparkle3000

Hammer helped alot of people get off drugs, paid for their homes and posted bail, etc.. When he needed help, no one helped him.
Be careful who you help.
He got his family though.
His wife held him down.
He's a blessed man today living a quiet life.

@blackhistoryonsteroids8196

Hammer had a big heart. More than most people. He deserves props for that.

@aljackson3225

He still can't be touched..!!!πŸ¦…
Great individual.

@NailsbyAmbie

He went broke because of his huge heart. He was very good to everyone around him. He should have a comeback tour. I would totally go.

@fundicm

This is a story about persistence and moving forward in life regardless of any obstacles. Kudos to you Mr. Hammer..

@iseentertainment3482

Man -how can they say all this rubbish - this man helped and paved the way for most of these artists that came out after him -give this hard working man some love and respect!!

@truthhurtz8517

MC Hammer is the first rapper with a diamond certification album and the first rapper to win the "International Album of the Year Award". Yes MC Hammer is from Oakland, California...πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

This Gentleman, right here.. know he could put on a show.. Back in them daysπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

@SouthernGent44

Hammer wanted to help everyone he could. He just had too many people on the payroll, and insisted on continuing to help them even when his record sales fell off. And people who start poor then suddenly have money, don't always understand how heavily they will be taxed. Then there are other expenses like agent, promoters, food and lodging for his entourage, etc. He is a genuinely good and gracious person, so please show him the respect he has earned.

@blazreichard573

God bless him ,we will never forget him his a star🌟

@St.Maurice

In my opinion....one of the greatest rappers ever. Not for his music which I love, but the fact that he hired his entire neighborhood to keep them off the streets!!!!! #RespectToHammer

@sadiki227

What messed Hammer up is that he was too giving to others. However he seems to be at peace now a days.

@djamilchan892

1.5 mil is still better then most. Go hammer go hammer go!!πŸ’ͺ🏽

@Geez01
