this aged like shit
I find it strange when people say that SuperCell are only super greedy NOW when 2016 was arguably even worse. Upgrading cards to level 15 is difficult now but anyone who played the game back then knows it was 10x as hard to get your legendaries to max level in the early days without spending literally thousands. SuperCell are a mobile game company whose primary focus is making money and that’s what they’ve always been. I’m in no way defending them but I do get annoyed when people complain about things that have always been the case. If you really hate the game that much, just move on. The community would be far less negative and toxic if people would just leave the game behind if they’ve stopped enjoying it
It has a long way to go. I still enjoy it a lot, but I get why most people don't. But I can see they've been putting more effort lately. On 2024, we got Void, Goblin Demolisher, Goblin Curse, Goblin Machine, Sus Bush, and Goblinstein. On 2025, it's been only 2 months and we've already got Ruin Giant and Berserker. They're def working more than, say, 2023 or 2022.
New Berserker Card is one of the most balanced new cards in a while. Seems weak, but it actually has a decent role
I got really mad at the game when they reduced the amount of elite wildcards you get for 100k gold from 10 thousand to 5 thousand, I was literally about to get my first level 15 card and they did me dirty like that for no reason, but nothing can compare to the most recent update 💀💀 everyone was hoping it was an april fools thingy
Just came back bro if you dont have 2 evolution youre just screwed. The evos are fundamentally flawed because you always have to spend more than what your opponent spent to counter the evo. Tired of this.
Clash Royale could become a mobile Counter Strike, but it became a Call of Duty
I dont think so
Im f2p and i came back to the game and its so much better than it was like 6 months ago
Me finally starting to really enjoy clash royal again... RUNE GIANT EMERGENCY BUFF
It seems to me that clash royale right now is in a relatively stable state right now nothing too bad is happening but also nothing too exciting is happening
Clash Royale is in hospice at this point. They've messed up too much and if the game dies, I will literally throw a party in their misery. They got way too greedy and selfish with money that they weren't entitled to and now they want to fix it. Yeah okay. R.I.P Clash Royale, May Hay Day forever out sell you
Well they're nerfing rune giant before the season ends so it's a step in the right direction
I have what may be a controversial opinion but it is actually really easy to level up in this game and in fact I would say progression wise for me as a f2p player has been really easy especially with the new lucky drops system. Getting to level 14 is so easy now because of how much they inflated gold and getting the cards are really easy. Level 15 is still a bit harder to get but I find that you can still easily get like 3-4 level 15 cards a season. The main issue I feel with the game is it is too hard to get evolutions there should be a chest with a shard in your chest cycle or there should be a shard at the end of path of legends or they should introduce some shards in the challenges. With how many evos there are now you don’t get nearly enough shards to supplement. Also the balancing is kinda out of whack like evo edrag and evo pekka are still kinda insane and not fun to deal with and evo dart goblin and evo lumberjack look really unfun to deal with and are not a step in the right direction for evos. I also just want to add that I don’t think tower troops are that bad as long as the princess stays as a pretty viable option.
I will continue to stay updated on the state of the game as I still play boom beach and brawl stars and I hope they learn their lesson on royale and don't let it carry over to the other games, as for royale I'm done lvl 15 was the last straw I played for 10 years just to be set back 10 more? No this is where I draw the line
i quit during the update for losers and returned for a few hours a few months ago before uninstalling the game again. I'll probably pick up the game again when an evolution is offered for free again, as even in casual 1v1 where there's tournament level standard, evolutions are still an issue for those who don't have one
They had one job
sigh…
Not anymore
