I was exhausted, diligently taking notes, pausing the video and rewinding. FINALLY felt that I was starting to get a complete understanding for the metabolism... and then the intro played.
Crash course is the goat. I watch the videos before college lecture. I find having an introduction to the topic in such a fun and entertaining way makes the lecture go down easier. I can also rewatch to help nail In understanding. This is helping me keep my gpa high enough to stay in honors. As someone who almost dropped out of high school 13 uears ago, these videos feel like they’re giving me a fighting chance. Thank you guys!
Dam guys I didn't think you would go this deep. You made it to 3rd year biochem materials, never expected anyone to go that far in a small webshow. It may have been generalized but still, that is an achievement; bravo sirs, bravo.
I am a nutrition and dietetics student studying about metabolism and this is the best video ever❤👍👍👍
An instructor from an A&P class I took years ago pointed out that pretty much every "popular" food combo we can think of contains all the essential amino acids. Cultures that first discovered these combinations had the habit of not being dead during tough times when dietary options were reduced down to simple of dishes of beans and rice, peas and carrots, etc. And now a-days, those combinations are basically ingrained into the culture of what we eat together.
I would love a crash course pharmacology!
Comparing Gordon Ramsey to DNA was the best thing that happened to me all day :D
Yay, more Crash Courses! <3 This is the perfect excuse to procrastinate a little longer.
Crash Course has saved me many a times, from junior year Anatomy, to senior year AP Biology, to my 1st year Nutrition class.
Loving this new bit of having little animations interacting with you on screen, Loved little Sisyphus pushing the bolder up your arm and on the recent CC Astronomy it really cracked me up when Phil became Spectroscopy Man!
alot of people that train and workout listen to bodybuilders for nutrition when they need to understand the basics and these videos are the best there is! and i dont think you can get bored of this information! Keep it up! :)
Wanna say a huge thank you to this man... .i need to learn this stuff for my course but my lecture is so shite, honestly she is so bad and i didn't understand any of it but thanks to him, im starting to understand it :)
I would love a crash course physics!!
that avocado was so cute
You seem like a chill guy. You also make stuff sound interesting, subbed!
So much information in this video.. I think I retained about 1/4 of it.. but it’s a start. I always wondered what metabolism actually was.
I’m finally understanding crash course. The trick is to keep your mind open. Don’t get caught up in the WHY just understand what’s placed in front of you. Then, in the future, things will slowly come together over time.
When students procrastinate homework that's apart of a multi day lesson intended to teach them, to watch a video 10 minutes long and learn MORE about the subject than the class can... Something is wrong...
"Great overview of metabolism basics! Easy to understand and very informative."
