When he was told she doesn't need protecting, he smiled like a proud dad. 😊
“When have you ever fought for anyone?” -Arya “I fought for you, didn’t I?” -Hound
Arya became the daughter he never knew he wanted nor needed. When he leapt off the building, I sobbed.
Sandor's character was so good that even Season 8's bad writing couldn't spoil it.
I cried when he jumped. I really enjoyed his development. The hound became one of my favorites.
“The only one needing protection is the one who gets in her way.” Well said Sir Brienne of Tarth
Hound was truly a caring man. He may have had his issues but he always was honorable and knew to do the right thing. He cared after the Stark girls the best he knew how. I truly appreciate his character on the show
When she said sandor, you can see the bliss in his eyes and a smile as he turns. This was one of the best things about GOT was the growth for these two.
The only character who actually got a satisfactory ending according to their journey.
The Hound is imo the most underrated character in the whole series. Great man
She and The Hound had an awesome bond!
Man, tears ran down my cheeks when she called him Sandor.
She is the only character and only in this scene to directly address him as Sandor. I cried
Sandor Clegane deserved an Oscar for his acting in GOT. Despite how strict he was to Arya, deep down he loved her, cared about her and protected her😂
The Hound and Theon's character arcs and conclusions were quite literally the only good parts of season 8.
In the end Sandor the Hound had to face his greatest fears, his brother the Mountain and fire which they both fell into and the Hound did not even blink once and stormed into his destiny like the anti hero he was meant to be.
The relationship between Arya and Sandor was the reason I watched this series... I have a daughter and I taught for a decade and I'd kill or die for any of the kids I love.
He absolutely got in her way. Exactly when she needed him to.
Amazing story arc. The way they gently peeled back the facade to reveal his humanity was truly magic.
