Bought a used top end polo for 3.75L 8yrs ago. Spend around 1.25L on maintenance over the years and around 8k every year on insurance. The resell value now is at 3.5L and the car is still solid.

@madraspanda9833

A used German Luxury car will come with inherent risk a small issue will cost a lot to fix. You should set aside 5-6 lakhs just for maintenance in case you are getting a 7–8-year-old one

@dr.akashsatapathy9422

Got myself an 6 yr Old car , Grand i10 Sportz , 27000 KM on the ODO at 4lakhs , all costs included . Got New tyres for free. 3 years down the line , the car is in absolute good shape , only requiring an yearly service as low as 3k on average , including oil and spares .i have run it for 30k KM extra . Got the car by 100 % cash at no debt . Happy and grateful !!

@TheViralKontent

2 things experience has taught me is:
1.) Dont but if u cant pay in cash.
2.) Out of warranty luxury cars are ticking time bombs. They will run fine till one day something breaks and u realise that part costs as much as the used price for the complete car.

@harivinayak03

Could have included the context of a non-luxury used car. Say a Swift or something similar. I know, demanding audience.

@somnathdey158

I would say go for used Toyota, hyundai or a honda. If you are not good with checking vehicle conditions go with a mechanic or go with used car platforms but you will get the vehicle 1-2 lakhs more expensive.

@somratdutta

My dad bought a 2nd hand EoN 12 years back.
It still running like fine-wine, no major issues till now, only scheduled maintenance, perfect for Bangalore roads as its still giving me 20Km/L.

@ashokpatra9573

I bought my 1st car in 2019 a 10-year-old Chevrolet Spark Petrol for 80K and drove it for 2 month and sold for 90K.
Then I bought my 2nd car in 2019 a 10-year-old Ritz Petrol for Rs. 1.4 lakh and have drove around 30000 km. Now just this month I did the Reregistration for another 5year. The car has clocked 65K and I will keep this car forever. The Ritz is running super.
I Bought my 3rd car in 2023-october a 4-year-old S-cross Diesel 1.3L Facelift for 6.5 Lakh. I have drove it 22K in just 11 months. It’s a lovely car.
Now I just have (10days ago) bought my 4th Car a 5year old Skoda Kodiak 2.0 Litter Diesel for 15lkah. I know the maintenance is high so I have kept 1-2 lakh for that. (I will sell the S-cross) and ll keep the Kodiak & Ritz and ll sell the s cross.
So, in my opinion buying a used car is always a sensible decision.
Btw I am from Odisha.

@MsJAYDEEP1993

I’m watching videos while waiting for my new car delivery tomorrow 😂. By the way, I bought a Mazda here in Thailand 🇹🇭, and the best part is, there’s no tax on it!

@deepaknirala2130

I like this style of video where you guys add humor in the conversation. Great

@MrCephalus

I've started liking you guys since the series started. The quality of videos has also gone up.
I can't stop noticing your Apple watch ultras while hearing about frugality 😂

@panchajanyanaralasetty7370

One of the most underrated channel...Hat's off

@Physiology-E-Paathshala

I would like to see the same video for budget cars

@vatsaldodiya

I recently purchased a well-maintained Ford EcoSport at a great price, and I was able to pay the full amount in cash. Yes, Ford has exited the Indian market, but spare parts are still easily available here in Rajkot, Gujarat.

My monthly running is around 500 km, so I asked myself—why should I go for a brand-new car on EMI when I can get a solid, second-hand SUV with great build quality for the same amount as just the down payment of a new car?

I'm genuinely happy with my decision. Just because I opted for a pre-owned car doesn't mean I can't afford a new one—it simply means I made a smarter choice for my needs. When it comes to getting from point A to point B, a well-maintained second-hand car is often the most practical and value-for-money option.

@debabratamahato8590

A humble request to you guys please make a video on " how nominee can claim equity shares if any mishap happens to the investors " in these days retail investors are putting lost of their fund into equity, financial influencer are influencing about equity investment bt their is very less knowledge available in the internet about the nominee claim process ..

Please guys make a proper video on this topic 🙏

@pink_chipmunk

We bought an alto 800 in 2014 (it's also does not have a ac or a powers steering) and it's been 10 years since and it still gives 20kmpl here in Shimla even though we have a Creta alto us still the go for anything we are doing in Shimla given the narrow roads
If someone is considering buy a used car for practical reasons, I would seriously recommend a 4–5-year-old alto of any kind given you do your due diligence and check it for any obvious structural defects and the engine but other than that everything else is pretty cheap to replace or fix

@sagnikbhattacharya1062

A single bolt in BMW that is being imported can take up to 30 days to reach your car. It can cost up to 1500 to 2000. That same bolt in Swift can cost less than 50 rupees.

@shankarbalan3813

Looking at current prices of new cars, it makes good sense to buy a used car. But ideally buy a used car without taking a loan. Easy to say. Hard to practice.

@anurag-when-afk

Older german luxury cars have terrible service costs and complex engines which are made like that on purpose. If your transmission/engine fails, you would need to scrap it, as even the repair centres will say fixing the car is not worth the cost.

@rahulprasad8765

Actually, the video logically compares new vs. old luxury cars, not just old vs. new cars in general.

An older luxury car can be purchased at a 30-50% discount, and its service costs are not excessively high, making it a cost-effective option.

Overall Nice Video
