there’s this author, owen hermstring, and in his book he breaks down some universal laws most people never even question. it changes everything.

@PsychologicaOO

This video hits differently. The idea that we chose this life, with all its pain, fear, and uncertainty — not as victims, but as players in a grand illusion — completely reframes everything. Alan Watts was right: when we stop resisting the flow and start dancing with it, fear dissolves into play. Thank you for this reminder. It’s not about escaping the game — it’s about remembering that we are the ones who pressed “Start.”

@LightThroughShadows

it's Funny how life feels so heavy… until you realize you’re the one gripping it so tightly. What if letting go isn’t losing, but finally remembering this is all just a dance? Has anyone else felt a strange peace when they stop taking it all so seriously?

@foreveraweeb242

“Don’t try not to be afraid. Just stop being afraid of your own fear.” 👍

@GoForwardPhilosophy

I used to drown in anxiety, thinking I had to fix everything. But recently, I started seeing my pain as part of a bigger story. It’s not easy, but it helps.
  ❤Thank you for this perspective—it humbles me and reminds me to stay present.
🙏Wishing peace and clarity to everyone reading this. 🌟

@AskRedditLab

This video hit me HARD. I've spent years battling anxiety, feeling like I was failing at life. Hearing this made me realize I'm not broken; I just forgot I'm playing a game. It's a huge weight lifted. Thank you for sharing this.

@NevilleGoddardFiles

“Worrying isn’t awareness… it’s imprisonment.” That hit like a truck. 🚨 Who else felt called out?

@Stoic_Timeless

I needed this reminder. It’s not about escaping pain, it’s about remembering the game.

@theself_yt

You didn’t come here to avoid fear.
You came to feel it — and remember it wasn’t real.
This video cracked something open.
The moment you stop clinging to meaning and start dancing with uncertainty…
You stop suffering.
And you start living.

@GoBetterMe

The idea that fear is just part of the “game” kinda broke my brain — in a good way.
Now every time I spiral, I just imagine Alan Watts winking at me like, “Ah yes, the plot thickens.”
10/10 recommend this for anyone who overthinks their overthinking 🌀

@KimHarvey-cy5ji

Stop worrying! Have no fear! It resonates for sure! Thank u Alan Watts! Love him taught me so much

@SleepWithScaryStories

The greatest plot twist in life? Realizing you're both the actor and the audience.”
This video hit deep. Alan Watts reminds us that fear, chaos, even heartbreak—they’re all scenes in a sacred play we chose to enter.
The moment you stop resisting and start observing… everything shifts.
Has anyone else had that moment where you suddenly remembered: Oh wait, this is all a game?

@fenixphucks3331

Life can be heaven or hell I’ve been to both it feels. I just hope all of you who feel lost or trapped to stay positive. I don’t know the answers I often feel lost and trapped but staying positive is what’s keeping me moving forward.

@johnscott3795

Beautiful xx thanks for explaining Mr Watts his wonderful truths. I go to a therapist the past year, I’ve lived in fear and worry Just about all of my life , ..I’m keeping this video , I want to practice his advice, I’m tired of resistance to everything ,and emotion, it’s exhausting. Cheers for this very good video ❤

@AmaPeters-pj6pm

IT HAPPENED MANY YEARS AGO
I EMEMBER I WAS A VERY CAREFREE CHOLD TILL MY FATHEr
MADE A NEGaTiVE COMMENT ABOUT IT
I STARTEd TO BECOME CONCERNED ABOUT LIFE
WHICH BROUGHT SERIOUSNESS INTO MY LIFE

@Psylogue-369

Watts’ take on replacing worry with contemplation at [10:03] is like a lifeline in our stress-obsessed world. The idea that worry is an emotional addiction, keeping us from deeper questions, hit me hard. His quote, “The art of living is neither careless drifting nor fearful clinging, but being a witness to the present,” urges me to pause and observe instead of spiraling. I’ve wasted hours overthinking work or relationships, but this video’s nudge to admire life’s chaos like a storm is refreshing. What’s one worry you could trade for curiosity today?

@MinteaAscunsă-i7i

THIS IS PHENOMENAL, REALLY TOUCHES THE SOUL, WHAT AN INCREDIBLE VIDEO

@Humanshrek1414

I really needed this. Been hyperfixating on the bad things I did when I was 18-19. I’m slowly learning to forgive myself and understand my past actions don’t define me.

@dalehodges5362

This brought me compassion for those wearing a theology as a shield against fear. People awaiting death for salvation. Missing the liberation and awe of dwelling between enhation and exhalation where the unknown breeds our humanity. Regardless how much I meditate fear will remain ... that killed me in the good way akaTao.🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
