I thought of this problem the first way, but I like the 2nd approach. 1 question: in the 2nd approach, you are choosing the first face, and then what you're saying holds, that there's a 4/5 * 1/2 chance of colors being placed in a matching way. Why don't you need to consider the fact that there are 6 possible choices for the first face though?
