I know that Airport very well
Thanks for the video of some very pretty country. I was out there for my grandson's graduation at Ruckersville, but have not had the chance to fly there. 2,000' used to be the common length of runways at the many small town airports in the U.S. Ingalls reminds me of Farmington, New Mexico, one of the many mesa airports in the SW. You have excellent footwork for the coordinated little Dutch rolls on short final with rollers and gusts. Try not using the aileron at all and just walking the rudder pedals dynamically and proactively constantly on short final to touchdown (and roll out in tailwheel.) Yes, an old tailwheel technique, but works with any airplane. If we lock/bracket the centerline exactly between our legs with rudder and correct yaw only, the wing cannot bank. In this way we are ahead of the airplane and ahead of rollers and gusts as we are already moving when it happens. Thanks again.
Thanks for sharing. Been meaning to take a flight down to Ingalls. Not too far of a flight from N13.
The Airport is getting a new terminal
Doesn't get any better than this... The only thing that I like flat is the runway...
You're not getting enough full throttle static RPM. Also why do you leave power on all the way to the flare?
Falwell??
Where do you fly out of??
