@abysmalvsmarcus

I have a job interview tomorrow. Wish me luck

@kirkbradley8382

I had an interview with Mcd's. The manager said "This job is only for young people." and then hung up on me. Ageism!!!

@AnthonyEhrhardt

I've been a software engineer since 1999, I lost my first job with the New York stock exchange after 9:11 and it was still easier to get a job than it is now

@MatthewBratton-d1b

I’m finding it difficult to even get an interview..

@MichaelRe-c7q

Brother.....I appreciate the video. My friend is a CTO of a company and he recommended me. I have an exceptional background. I had 6 rounds. Everything was great. Then out of nowhere I got a thank you, no thank you letter.

@dalilagarcia7230

10 interviews in 5 months and still unemployed. One place very nicely said that my education was essentially worthless and my last job could have been at Dominoes and they still might have interviewed me. I personally didn't take it as a compliment since it meant education really is a scam.

@MultiBaggerInvesting

I’m really starting to get concerned for folks out there. Took me 6+ months and I had to take something less than what I was making previously. This goes back to last year. I feel like it has gotten worse and at this rate, we might see record amounts of homelessness. Wishing everyone the best out there, it is indeed a cold world we live in. Every man for himself it seems. A little humanity and caring for your neighbor can go a long way. God bless everyone.

@MT-ek9te

The sad truth is,

The American Job Market are only in High Demand for 20 year olds having 25 years of work experiences.... and be desperate enough to accept the job being paid as a 18 year old in a 1980's Fast Food Worker's Paycheck

:/

@tercial

Yup this is very draining. I feel exhausted just thinking about having to tailor my resume to EVERY.
..SINGLE..JOB.

@minnesotajude8447

I’m an Iraq Veteran, recently laid off at the USDA. Nobody will hire me. I guess I didn’t do enough for this country.

@GeminiChic71

I go directly to the company website to apply there

@RadicalTek

I was complimented by HR for nailing interview questions, but still didnt get hired.

@wmor2449

My son is only getting jobs by the very worst employers that catfish, exploit workers & don't pay. His last employer did all three, fired him for asking where his pay was, then continued to lie to UI saying he was still employed blocking him from collecting UI. Now he just received a letter in the mail and a check from the company saying after an internal investigation they found he had been underpaid!

@Scrappygymrat

Just wait until that Linkidn user finds out companies don't care

@LiTTLeDizZyUriNe

Got laid off. Was unemployed for 11 months, got lucky after getting a call back from a temp agency, actually found with Robert Half and have been working this temp job for 6 months. At this point I'm 35. Feel lost and am toeing the line of falling into full apathy. So many scams, so much ghosting, a whole lotta nothing.

@TigerStar-r1u

This just makes me cry. There is not a single piece of advice that has worked for me. Even networking has not worked.

@charliedallachie3539

Took me two years and drained half my savings …but getting that offer was tears of elation for sure. Even though it requires relocating next month …sometimes you gotta bite the bullet and relocate for opportunities. If you’re not in a city with a strong job market ..,definitely be open to relocating to somewhere better.

@marcs4091

The hardest part about a job interview in 2025, is not completely outclassing the person that is interviewing you, losers are everywhere, the losing mentality is everywhere,

@rosesweetcharlotte

My biggest advise for people looking for jobs is to take breaks. Do not look every day of the week. If you have an exhausting job interview, take a break the next day. Job hunting is one of the most stressful things known to man

@banquetoftheleviathan1404

One thing I've learned is it's better to work for people. You already know, because at least they care about you.
