I legit consider this a movie twist. I thought they took the costume as far as they dared to go. And they practiced ingenious restraint in not giving us the mask until the start of the third act, and then they didn't show us just how ripped Hugh Jackman was until the very finale. They know how to play their audience like a fiddle! I will always be grateful to Ryan Reynolds for bringing my favorite character back from a truly nasty unceremonious send off with the 1/10 abysmal Logan movie.
