They fail because they(interviewer) asked stupid questions 

Imagine React is 100% and 60% of them you need to use daily basis and most of case
Or 40% you didn't even hear or you don't even use in production. And they asked questions from the 40% -_-

I use react + typescript is it enough to learn typescript instead of JavaScript for a interview. 1.5 yrs experience in react typescript and angular typescript for 7 month so is it important to learn JavaScript? Or can i go with typescript..
