One of my earliest memories is sitting at the front door, looking out at the rain. I could feel little bits of spray on my face from time to time and it gave me chills. My Mum walked up and I thought she was going to tell me to move away from the door, but instead, she wrapped me in a warm blanket, and let me stay there, warm, safe, and feeling loved. She left this earth far too soon. But while there’s rain, she’s always with me. ❤
