@ilijas2415

Fun fact: Morse code was the most used type of communication back in the days of the Titanic and it was indeed used to send CQD and SOS signals. So yeah, it CAN, or since it's not much in use nowadays, it COULD save your life.

@podwithtideinit

I'm brazilian, as a kid I thought it was called "Walrus Code", because "Morse" sounds a lot like the portuguese name for Walrus (Morsa)
I believed it until I was 7-8

@captnarwal5

Fun fact dots and dashes can also be represented as a person taping their finger or rubbing it on a surface so if you see some one tap there finger 3 times rub it on a surface 3 times then tap another 3 times that means SOS in Morse code and they could be in danger so if you see that look at them or around them and if something feels off or someone is close to the person in a weird way maybe call 911 because they could be asking for help from you because they can’t get help also I guess this wasn’t a fun fact serious fact I guess

@Goof-apleps

And that ladys and gentlemans, is what i call, "every secret mesage at the final credits of a movie"

@myresearchwork6718

Actually the guy who invented it knew that she was ill and he wasn’t able to go see her so he invents this thing to message to her but then he gets a response from somebody else that died just by the time he invented the thing. He didn’t travel the vast distance between them.

Morse code is pretty fun to learn, I've teached a few people too, you can learn it in under a week, even without spending a lot of time on it, you can even just do a little bit or work on it every day, you can learn it in under a day too, but I suggest spreading it out a bit, all you need to do is memorize symbols with each alphabet letter, pretty simple

@mr.spinoza

"Electricity" isn't "just light." Electromagnetic radiation is. That travels at the speed of light, whereas electricity (involving electrons) is slower.

@nottelling4192

One of the coolest animations to open our understanding of Morse code.
