There is also the setting that the button only works when the screen is on. This has fixed the problem for me.

I have a BIG problem with my 13 Pro Max. My first ever iPhone. Warranty ended in March, 1 month later, screen died (show only white and has burn in). The phone has ZERO damage, no liquid, I even dare to say zero scratches. Apple doesnt help me. Apple wants me to spent a third of the price of the phone to fix it (420€). The shittiest experience I ever had. The best part? Apple said to me that if I was "dishonest" in the first two years, by makeing up some kind of flaw, they could help me. But because I was honest and the phone had zero issues, weel, I'm f******!
