I lost it at sharks. The engineering, knowledge, and equipment necessary to keep a shark like that alive, let alone stress free enough to act normal, is monumental even for modern times.
I think Denzel was trying to do his best Christopher Walken impression... NAILED IT!! π
The Elon Musk fan reference is the best
That other version about a time traveling zombie gladiator sounds incredible and Iβm so sad we didnβt get it.
This REALLY makes me want to watch Gladiator and forget this sequel ever happened
There was an excellent movie here about a Gladiator who does not want to see his master become Emperor ruined by every fucking reference to a better movie.
That Always Sunny reference was unexpected gold.
I'm glad you mentioned the "hose" line. My thoughts exactly - are there hoses in ancient Rome?! The sequel also decided to literally "jump the shark". I wonder who wrote the script and how in the heck Ridley Scott decided to direct the thing. Must be the paycheck.
3:17 Denzel Washington talks like a politician. Lot's of pauses, when they give a speech...
3:25 are we sure that some of those epic pauses weren't just him trying to remember the line. πππ
Luckily, I didn't even make it to the shark scene, cause I walked out of the thater midway. Or to the scene where they apparently try to make us believe that 70 year old Brooklyn Grandpa Denzel could hold his own for more than half a second in a sword fight against a 25 year old, well-trained and battle-hardened gladiator in his prime.
The elon musk fans made me audibly chuckle. well played
Honest trailer is always a win
This was much more entertaining than the actual film.
Youβll know you have their respect when you can take a momentβ¦ and still hold their attention.
Maximusβ awkward afterlife: βwhat she doing here??β ππππππππππππππππ
These guys saw how the force awakens brutalised and copied a new hope and said "hold my beer"
The original was way more grounded in its combat, in the sequel he takes a rhino charge head on and just gets back up
Oh my Gosh, I literally thought I hit the dislike button instead of like. Love this man, strength and honor.
