I think Cell "bulking up" during his Solar Kamehameha might just be another case of them warping the model to achieve a desired effect in certain camera angles during the cinematic. Like how they made Gohan's arm stretch ridiculously far during his Father-Son Kamehameha.
That "penalty state" is called ki sickness. It also happens if you use an ultimate when you're about to fall out of max power state sometimes.
I think the reason doto âdrainedâ his energy is because vegeta used the weird combo you can do in bt2 where in max power you can rush and hold triangle you can mash square and rapidly attack them but then it takes your max power away. Itâs in the combo list I canât remember what itâs called
To explain 7:30 and why vegeta lost his FULL gauge. If u power to the max in Tenkaichi 2 and you burst rush and press triangle to attack your opponent it allows an ULTIMATE combo but if u MISS this combo you LOSE all your energy. So essentially, vegeta missed his Ultimate combo and goku went for the share energy move at the SAME time thus causing the illusion...im sorry..i have like 100000 hours invested in the tenkaichi series and am a nerd. If u dont believe me, check vegetas moveset in the pause menu
For a 17 year old game this game was and still is way ahead of it's time!
I have a potentially cool fun fact about Budokai 2. Kid Buuâs enemy AI will ramp up like crazy depending on who youâre using. If youâre using a character that was around during the fight with Kid Buu (Goku, Vegeta, Hercule, etc.) but if youâre using a character that wasnât around like Gohan, Videl, etc. heâll be a complete pushover.
idk if youâve covered this but i was playing BT3 a few weeks ago and i was trying out videl and i always wondered what the point of her charged ki blasts were since it barely travels any distance before it fizzles out. well, the point of her charged ki blasts is to shield herself from the enemyâs normal ki blasts. it nullifies them
Just a little fun fact If you use "power up to the very limit" and do NOT use a super or ult you wont get a charge debuff I always used it as a full power endless combo
A good night to watch secrets in Dragon Ball games.
5:07 this aged beautifully xd
10:13 i like vegeta doesn't fight it, he just accepts his fate đ
In budokai 1 the kamehameha doesn't shoot a beam it likes a close range shotgun where have to be close to the opponent
If we remember, Baby Vegeta didn't have a tail but received enough Blutz Waves to transform. I guess Vegeta's Power Ball converts just enough Blutz Waves.
12:59 What if instead of saibamen they were called Freakymen and instead of blowing up on people they blew up inside people
14:06 I donât think this was meant to reference that, itâs mostly just to bulk him up to be more visible in his ultimate because the camera zooms out twice from Cell. The same way Gohanâs hand gets bigger in the Father Son Kamehameha
The disrespect to Yamcha and Tien is crazy. They are the strongest, natural humans, next to Krillin. (Can Buu absorb Hercule?)
dotto be finding new secret stuff like crazy brođ
8:59 Z item route sounds neat. Most likely that was Vegeta's triangle smash (can't remember the exact name of the move). Most characters in max power mode can do a dragon dash and then use triangle to land a smash which opens you up to a lightning fast combo. Whether you land it or miss you are taken out of max power mode. Vegeta was dragon dashing and performed a smash attack in all successful recreations of the clip.
That burst limit saibeman will be in my nightmares now! đđ
